For today’s look, I paired my jewels with an easy all black look and topped it off with this gorge blush fur jacket from Cella’s Boutique. This is such an easy look to style and it’s a great alternative to the little black dress. As for the blush jacket, I can’t wait to wear it over little sequin dresses for the holidays. It’s also perfect for adding a hint of glam to a simple outfit like I did with today’s holiday party look.

Hi everyone, I’m so excited to finally announce a little something that I’ve been working on for the holidays with White Elephant Designs. You all know how much I love my morning coffee so I’ve been dreaming of my own signature Haute Off The Rack mug pretty much since I started my blog! Good Morning readers, as you all know, it’s officially cold outside in Louisiana so I thought I’d kick off the day with my favorite cable knit poncho this season! I’m wearing it in the oatmeal color right now, but it’s also available in black and grey too! It’s so warm and cozy and looks super chic with skinny jeans or leggings. International House New Orleans Hotel Review
Hi everyone, as promised I’m sharing my recent staycation at the International House New Orleans Hotel with you today. I recently stayed there for a fun getaway with Nikki of My Style Diaries and Kristina Britt Photography. I love the location because it’s within walking distance of the French Quarter and a ton of restaurants, but it’s still far enough away from all the hustle and bustle. We were able to walk to Tableau for dinner, Salon by Sucre for tea and a quick Uber ride to Cane & Table.

IH hotel offers an on-the-go breakfast selection and coffee in their lobby, but we arrived in New Orleans with a strong craving for beignets and District Donuts so we made a quick donut run and picked up a variety of delicious treats to bring back to our room.

Comfortable Travel Clothes
If you know me at all, then you know that comfortable travel clothes are a must for me. In fact, I would travel in my pajamas and Ugg Boots if I could, but unfortunately traveling in PJs just isn’t acceptable in the real world. Thankfully, I found some extremely comfortable jeans from Punch Boutique and the cutest ankle boots by Yosi Samra for traveling. I wore this outfit while traveling to New York last week for a fun work trip with MZ Wallace, Yosi Samra and Julie Vos.

About the jacket: We all know how much I love the color olive so of course I fell in love with the jacket because of that, but then I fell even more in love with it once I tried it on. Not only is it super comfortable and flattering, but it’s also perfect for the weather down here in the south and even great for layering under bigger coats up north.
About the jeans: I’ve only owned these jeans for a couple of weeks and I’ve already worn them more than some of the jeans I’ve had sitting in my closet for a couple of years. They fit like a legging and they’re perfect for petite people because they’re ankle length jeans so they hit just right on me, which means no alterations! I also really like the wash because they’re in between dark and light so you can wear them year round.
