Top Kitchen Appliances For Less

Hey everyone, today I’m sharing two of my favorite kitchen appliances to use during the holidays that you can find for less on Ebay.  From holiday tablescapes and festive décor to those key kitchen and home appliances, find everything you need to get your home holiday-ready on eBay. I love getting to use my copper Kitchenaid Mixer to cook and bake holiday treats and our Ninja Coffee Bar always comes in handy when we’re entertaining guests. We of course use our Ninja Coffee Bar every morning to brew our daily coffee, but it’s especially ideal when you’re trying to accommodate multiple people since it offers so many different settings and options.

I had the copper Kitchenaid Mixer on my list for years before I actually go it and it is 100% worth the splurge!  The beautiful rose gold color really pops against my grey backsplash in my kitchen and totally elevates my countertops. That and the fact that it makes baking so much easier.  Let’s be real here though… most of us just love how pretty of an appliance it is whether we actually bake or not. And I’m here to tell you that it does live up to it’s prettiness! LOL

As for our Ninja Coffee Bar, I’m sure you’ve heard me talk about this appliance a lot considering we use it everyday. It’s completely changed the coffee game for us. In fact, we usually prefer drinking coffee at home now instead of running out for a coffee drink.

Both of these kitchen appliances are available on Ebay along with plenty more kitchen accessories and electronics I love like espresso machines and the famous Dyson Cordless Vacuum. Be sure to keep an eye out for eBay’s daily deals here—> www.ebay.com/deals

Did you know that 81% of all merchandise sold on eBay is new and available with the “Buy It Now” option? That means you’re getting amazing deals on brand new items!

We’re hosting a Cookie & Hot Cocoa party this weekend for all of our friends to get together for Christmas and I plan on setting everything up very similar to how I did on National Cookie Day.

What are some of your favorite kitchen appliances?

Uniworld Paris to Paris River Cruise Recap

Hey everyone, today I’m finally sharing my Uniworld Paris to Paris River Cruise Recap. Blake and I went on our first river boat cruise through Paris and Normandy  this past October on the B ship, which is one of Uniworld’s newly renovated ships. We had an absolute blast exploring Paris, Rouen, Versailles and more with our U hosts. What are U hosts? They’re two fun and knowledgable hosts that work with U by Uniworld to guide the guests through all the cities they explore on the cruise, which is super ideal when you’re visiting new places in a foreign country. This was our first time to Paris so we were clueless and really enjoyed having guides to ensure that we had the best experience.

On our first day in Paris, we boarded the B ship and ate dinner in the dining room before our hosts took us to see the Eiffel Tower at night. The boat was docked near Tour Eiffel so we all just walked together in group. There were only about 70 guests on board so all of our tours were very small and intimate, which we really liked because it made all of our tours and excursions more enjoyable.

The U hosts knew all the best spots to view the Eiffel Tower as well all of the history behind it. Since it was our first time ever seeing the Eiffel Tower, it was magical getting to see it all lit up and twinkling at night. It was definitely a moment I’ll never forget.

On Day 2, we sailed to Conflans-Sainte-Honorine to tour the Palace of Versailles. The excursion was included with the cruise package and came with a guided walking tour, which was so nice because Versailles is so overwhelming that I wouldn’t have even known where to start.

The photo below was taken right outside of Marie Antoinette’s hamlet.

The food on the B Ship was excellent and came with 14 meals. We ate a delicious breakfast or brunch every morning on the boat and then we always ate somewhere in town for lunch. Dinner was served every night on the ship and we always looked forward to it because they offered such a wide selection plus dessert.

On day 3 we docked at Rouen, which was our favorite stop next to Paris. It was a cool city with a beautiful cathedral and plenty of shopping and restaurants. We even did a mini bar crawl the night before we left.

On Day 4, we visited the cliffs of Étretat, which was so beautiful. We even climbed all the way to the top. It was kind of a long walk, but totally worth it! After taking in the beautiful views, we headed to Honfleur for lunch and some more site seeing. Honfleur was the mostly darling little fishermen’s town, and I actually wish we would have had more time there because it was so cute. For lunch we tried their signature mussels dish and it was pretty good considering that I rarely ever eat mussels.

We would have no clue where to go in Honfleur without our U hosts. They were so helpful when it came to less touristy places.

On day 5, we took it easy in Vernon and only ventured off for a little while before coming back to the boat to just relax and enjoy the deck before cruising back to Paris. The newly renovated U by Uniworld B ship has a full service bar and plenty of cool spots to just hang out. So that’s exactly what we did.

On day 6, we returned to Paris and hit the ground running! Literally though (see photo above). We kicked off our first day back in Paris with a delicious Parisian food tour that we set up through U by Uniworld.

The food tour was led by a local Parisian and he took us to specialty food shops in Montmartre to pick out each item of food. We went to a bakery for fresh baguettes, a pastry shop for croissants, a local cafe for truffle and so on. Then we carried everything to a cute boutique hotel and feasted in their courtyard. We felt so cool and french and everything tasted fresh and delicious!

On day 7, we visited the stunning Palais Garnier opera house and Galeries Lafayette for some shopping. We even walked to the top of Galeries Lafayette to enjoy the beautiful rooftop views.

We celebrated our last night with U by Uniworld at the world famous Moulin Rouge’s Lady Marmalade show. The show was fabulous and I high recommend it. It was so fun getting all dressed to visit Moulin Rouge and thankful a bus transported us so we didn’t have to walk in heels!

We couldn’t leave Paris without snapping some beautiful photos in front of the iconic Eiffel tower at dawn before it was flooded with tourists.

New Years Holiday Card Idea

Hey everyone, I hope you had a nice weekend. If you follow me on Instagram, then I’m sure you saw me frolicking all over New Orleans with Blake in a 1920s costume. I mentioned there was a fun a collaboration in the works and I was referring to our New Years holiday card/Blake’s 30th birthday party invitation that I created with Walmart. My husband is a new year’s day baby and he turns 30 this January so I am throwing him a Great Gatsby themed birthday party to help him say farewell to his 20s and hello to 30! So naturally we’re partying 1920s style!

| Shop My Top Holiday Cards from Walmart |

Since we’re smack dab in the middle of the holidays, I thought it would be a cute idea to incorporate the invitation into a holiday card.  So we dressed up in our roaring 20s outfits and shot some photos in New Orleans for the holiday/invitation to get all of our guests excited for Great Gatsby costumes and to give them an idea of what to wear. I will do a separate post with full details on our costumes.

To create the holiday card invitation, I chose Walmart’s “Happy New Year Little Snowflakes” card layout and uploaded our photo plus additional text to call out Blake’s 30 birthday on the front of the card. Then on the back, I typed up a catchy rhyme and included all of the party details. Also, I couldn’t choose which photo I liked more so I ordered two different options and figured I could send out a mix of both. Tomorrow makes exactly one month until the party and I’m leaving town for the next two weeks so I chose the “same day linen” cards and picked them up from Walmart within about two hours after creating them online. The linen cards worked out perfectly since I was on a time crunch to get these printed before leaving town, but I also highly recommend choosing their premium card stock option and having them mailed to your house. I ordered those cards last year and they’re great quality plus it saves you the hassle of driving to the store. See here—> 2017 Custom Holiday Cards for Less

Walmart has so many cute holiday card options plus they offer same day pickup, which is super ideal when you’re trying to get your cards out quickly before it’s too late. This “Cheers” card is super cute for new years too!
