Happy Valentine’s Day everyone! I hope you’re all enjoying this gorgeous weekend. We couldn’t ask for better weather here in southern Louisiana. I’ve already spent most of my day outside shopping and enjoying lunch with my boyfriend. Kaela and I actually shot this tulle skirt this past Thursday, but the sun shined just as beautifully today.
Anyway, in case you’re wondering where to find this exact skirt on Bliss Tulle’s site, you can’t because I had it custom made. Not to worry though because you can easily have one custom made for yourself too! If you’re wondering why I requested to have this skirt specially made for me, you can ask Pinterest that question! After staring at my Pinterest boards for hours one day, I decided that I needed a majestic tulle ball gown to prance around in my magical field for no reason. Haha! You all know how Pinterest gets the best of us sometimes and drives us to buy, make, bake and order all kinds of things! At least that’s what it does to me! This might sound lame, but this tulle skirt made me feel like a little girl again dressed up like a pretty pretty princess! It was truly a magical day! Haha! I’m not kidding! You can even ask Kalea! I hope these pictures of me frolicking around an open field wearing a tulle ball gown inspires you to have a little fun and maybe even get your own custom made tulle skirt to enjoy!

P.S. I found this rose gold cropped top at Forever 21 over the Christmas holidays and even though I didn’t need it for anything at the time I bought it anyway because it was only $15! Anytime you see a cute cropped top under $20, you buy it! Trust me, you’ll end up needing it for something!

My #LifeUnfiltered Beauty Routine
Good Morning readers, with Valentine’s Day coming tomorrow I wanted to share some of my behind-the-scene beauty steps with you that will leave you feeling beautiful on both the outside and inside. Whenever I want to feel my best for a date night, I follow a unique #lifeunfiltered routine before I even start my series of hair, makeup and accessories. First, I always like to start the day by hitting the gym for an intense body-pump or spin class. Exercise causes your body to release endorphins, which triggers a positive feeling in the body and leaves you feeling happy and energized. I also make sure to drink plenty of water throughout the day to keep my skin and body looking fresh and hydrated. After a fulfilling workout, I like to clean up around the house; light candles for a fresh scent and brighten up the kitchen with some vibrant colored flowers.

As soon as everything else around me is glimmering clean, I can officially begin my real outer beauty routine. After I shower with my Eucalyptus Spearmint body wash and Pureology shampoo and conditioner, I rinse my face with a gentle cleanser and follow by using Shiseido’s Ultimune Power Infusing Concentrate. If you want your skin to glow and feel silky smooth for date night, all you have to do is use Ultimune twice daily after cleansing your face. I recommend applying the product before using any kind of serum or moisturizer.

I know I had few good ideas for my Valentine’s morning treats, but I totally cheated when it came to my night time sweets! I bought these hand-dipped, chocolate-covered strawberries from Zoe’s Bakery in Covington, LA! Sorry ya’ll, I’m just not cut out for making gourmet strawberry desserts. I know it’s not rocket science, but there is no way that mine would have turned out as extravagant looking as these! I know that for a fact after my cookie-cutter baking experience. You know what I mean if you read my morning post!
Anyway, as you can see I only made a few easy changes to take my Valentine’s Day bar cart from morning to night. I swapped out the pink-sprinkled donuts and homemade sugar cookies with chocolate-covered strawberries and Valentine’s Day Cards. I also put a bottle of Belle Glos and wine glasses in place of the mimosas and coffee.
For extra decorations, I added a present to the tray and sprinkled some red Valentine’s Day confetti around the bar cart. You’ll also notice that I took down the pink and gold tassels and replaced them with a string of gold heart lights. I hung printed photos of Blake and myself with clothespins in between the hearts to really bring the room to life.
Last but not least, I changed out of my cute Valentine’s Day PJ set and threw on my Camilyn Beth GoGo dress, leopard pumps and Kendra Scott jewels for some added glam. I also applied some rose pink blush and my hot pink Never Say Never lipstick by Bare Minerals for our dinner date. See here–> My Perfect Date Night at Ox Lot 9
