This past August I collaborated with Katie Dumestre and Rachel Adams of The Elizabeth Chronicles to create a stylish tee for my readers inspired by New Orleans, high fashion and of course Haute Off The Rack. For those of you who aren’t familiar with TEC’s tee designs, Katie and Rachel create casual, designer-influenced tees with a hint of local flair such as the Crescent City/Chanel tee that I styled in my recent post, Crescent City Style.
For Haute Off The Rack’s tee design, we went for an Hermes-inspired image to emphasize the “H” in “Haute” once I decided on the phrase “Haute For NOLA.” It didn’t take me long to choose the black and gold color scheme considering that the shirts would be ready just in time for football season. P.S. When washing your tee, do not throw it in the dryer! Lay flat to dry. The heat is too harsh on the gold foil.
