The Type of Gift That Keeps on Giving
Hi everyone, as we move closer to Christmas, I plan to share a gift idea with you in each of my daily blog posts starting today with this Mon Amie watch. While watches are always a good go-to gift during the holidays, I want you to know that the watch featured in today’s post isn’t just any watch. With each watch you purchase, you also help give back to the world through WE Charity. Those types of gifts are always the best kinds to give! You could even treat yourself to watch and you would still be giving back.
I chose the Food Watch for myself, which comes in tan with a strawberry icon at the 12 o’clock. Not only is it a beautiful piece of jewelry, it also helps to provide school lunches for two months for one child. In addition to the watch, you’ll also receive an enamel pin to wear or give to someone special. I gave my food pin to my dad for teaching me how to be aware of my surroundings so I can spot someone in need of help.

2017 Custom Holiday Cards For Less!
Happy Friday everyone! Who is ready for the countdown to Christmas? I am and I can’t think of a better way to kick off the first day of December than by decorating the house and sending out holiday cards! However, just like every other year, I can never decide on what photo I want to use so this year I ordered a few different options from Walmart to see which ones I liked best before ordering them in bulk. I didn’t mind doing this beforehand because their card selection is so affordable plus Walmart is currently offer 30% OFF card stock sets (discount applied automatically). On top of that, you’ll receive free trim upgrade on card stock. Such a steal! Anyway, I ended up choosing the Big Golden Merry card, but I still kept the others as keepsakes.
I was so impressed with the high quality of the cards considering that I got them for such a great deal. I designed them on my computer from the comfort of my home and Walmart provided pre-printed return labels on the envelope, which was a huge plus!

Five Ways to Repurpose Shower Flowers
Hi everyone, I have yet to share my recent bridal shower on the blog, but today I’m giving you a peek at the beautiful flower arrangements by sharing five ways to repurpose flowers from your showers or any of your other wedding parties. Flowers play such a huge role in making your event look beautiful so I’ve come up with a few ways to help extend their beauty.
Five Ways to Repurpose Shower Flowers:
- Let your guests take them home as party favours
- Turn your flowers into custom thank you cards.
- Create a keepsake with dried petals either in a frame of album.
- Make floral confetti to throw at your wedding!
- Last but not least, turn them into the centerpiece for your dining table and host a brunch or dinner party!
Bonus: One of my readers just told me that she donated all of hers to a local hospital to brighten the patients’ day! How sweet! I love this idea and am totally doing it next time! You could donate them to so many different places to bring a smiles to so many faces!
