Hi everyone and Happy Monday! Today, I wanted to share a little makeup review with you since I get so many questions on how I keep my skin looking smooth and flawless. Please don’t misread that as me saying I have flawless skin because I do NOT. However, with the help of Ashley Sievert’s Mineral Velvet Creme, it allows my skin to appear that way!

See post here–> Haute Off The Rack Gets A Makeover By Ashley Sievert  I know I’ve told you this before, but I was so amazed by the results that I bought everything she used on my face and even had her give me a makeup application lesson.  On top of that, I hosted a fun beauty event with her at a local boutique in Baton Rouge where she offered makeup application lessons and complimentary foundation touchups using her own line of face makeup.

I love how her Mineral Velvet Creme has a lightweight feel, but still gives you maximum coverage. Plus it’s oil free, hypoallergenic and waterproof. Yes, you read that right! It’s waterproof! Hello Summer, right? It literally lasts the whole day until you take a makeup remover wipe to your face! Also, Ashley’s concealer adapts to every skin type and color.  On top of the Velvet Creme, I also use her mineral pressed powder, Glow Under The Eye Brightener and her newly released Velvet Air Brush Set. Ashley’s brush set 100% lives up to it’s name. When used properly with the foundation and powder, her brushes gives you that coveted air brushed look.

I use Ashley Sievert Beauty products for all my photo shoots as well as date nights and special occasions for the extra coverage and also because it’s water proof so it literally lasts all day and all night long. It’s so nice to not have to worry about reapplying my foundation. During the daytime, I like to wear a tinted moisturizer or BB cream with loose mineral powder because I like to preserve my ASB makeup and save it for more special occaisions.
