Good morning everyone!  I haven’t tried any of this floral denim yet, but I’m willing to give it a shot!  Like I’ve said before I love trying new trends to revamp my style.  I think these floral jeans would pair nicely with a plain white tee and some neutral colored flats or sandals and perhaps a fedora to pull the whole look together.  To me, floral print dresses are a no brainer.  Just throw one on and add some booties or gladiator sandals and a satchel for a boho day time look.  Then spruce it up a bit for the night time by changing into a pair of heels or wedges and cinching the waist line with a belt.  Make sure to complete the look with a clutch and some fun jewelry.  You know I of course love the high low floral dresses, but what kind of floral pieces will you be sporting this season?

P.S. Yesterday was an excellent day!  I partnered up with 3 other local boutiques in Baton Rouge in which they’ll allow to me use their clothing, shoes and accessories for my photo shoots!  Get excited to see some fabulous new outfits directly “haute off the rack” from these amazing boutiques and sent right to you!

Oh and don’t worry Max is currently editing the photos from the last shoot and I’ll have an outfit post up shortly!

Thank God it’s Friday!

Alright everyone, it’s time you knew…..Yes, the rumors are true.  I’m a shopaholic.  My mother considers it to be a problem while I call it a gift!  Coming from someone who works in a high-end clothing boutique, I’ve found that not everyone knows how to shop for themselves.  They don’t know how to find the best deals, compare prices, utilize promotion codes, and find exactly what they’re looking for.  That’s where I come in.  Instead of referring to myself as a shopaholic, I’d like to say I’m a professional shopper.  I can help a person find exactly what they want at the lowest prices.  What can I say? It’s a gift!  For example, the other day my friend, Kate and I were shopping at Express and we found some really cute clothes, but neither of us wanted to pay full price.  Kate put hers down in hope for a sale later down the road, and I said  “Kate! pick that top back up.  We are going to find a promotion code!”   So we googled promotion codes for Express on her phone and sure enough we found one, showed it to the sales associate and together we saved $45!  I use my own personal shopping experiences to help you get the best deals and find what you’re looking for.  I’m able to help you find a place to buy what you’re looking because I’m constantly window shopping at boutiques, searching online and putting style boards together for my own personal inspiration.  If I don’t know exactly where to find something, I at least know all the web sites that can lead me there or help me find something similar.  When any of my friends are looking for a particular item they know exactly who to come to.  I also have a special email address set aside strictly for subscribing to stores’ email listings to get all of the latest news about sales, promotion codes and new arrivals.

Current Express Promotion: $15 OFF every $75 you spend, $30 OFF your $150 purchase, $45 OFF $225 and $60 OFF$300!

Use promo code: 1184 (Now-Friday)

P.S. I’m so excited and Flattered that LSU student, Karen Nelson, has asked to film and interview me about my fashion blog for her broadcast class.  I can’t wait to show you all the finished product!  I’m also so happy because jewelry designers Donna Guidry and Mary Irwin of California have offered to let me keep a piece of the exquisite jewelry they sent me to feature on my blog.  A big Thank You to Bijoutiere!

Oh, and here is a picture of Brittany Snow wearing the FC lace dress.  I can’t wait to show you how I styled it!  Don’t worry I’ll have more outfit posts soon.  I’m just waiting on Max to finish editing the photos from the last photo shoot.

Have a great day everyone!

Good morning everyone!  Yesterday was such a busy day with school, work  and the photo shoot with Max and Meghan Price.   If you’re life is anything like mine, then you’re always on-the-go.  When I’m running around all day I like to wear a comfortable pair of flats, length appropriate shorts and a loose top.  I’ll even bring along a boyfriend blazer in case it gets cool.  You’ll also see me carrying a large tote that can fit my lap top for work and school, my make-up bag for a quick touch up, and maybe even a snack if its going to be a long day.  I also keep a wristlet inside of my purse to hold my phone, keys, wallet and lip balm for easy access to my most important items.  I absolutely love the hot coral J. CREW shorts.  They come in so many different colors and are the perfect length!  I also must tell you that the tan J. CREW bag is such a great steal because it looks just like the Celine luggage handbag which is $1,995.00.

Yesterday’s photo shoot was such a success with Max and Fashion Inspiration Feature: Meghan Price.  We ended up going to three different locations to shoot, but we got a ton of great shots and I was able to get in about eight different outfits.    We couldn’t have asked for better weather.  It was an absolutely gorgeous sunny day with a slight breeze, and the scenery exceeded my expectations.  There was only issue in which I got water proof eye-liner all over my new dress.  Thankfully, after scrubbing the spots with a tooth brush, laundry detergent and warm water I was able to rid of the stain!   It will be a few days before I’ll have the photos from Max, but here are two pictures we took with Meghan’s phone before we wrapped up the day.

Have a wonderful day!

Good Morning everyone! I hope you all had a nice relaxing weekend!

Make sure to take advantage of this Ann Taylor promotion by clicking on any of the links above:

25% OFF 2 full prcied items or 40% OFF 3 or more full priced items, use code: STOCKUP

Do you not just love all of these outfits by Ann Taylor?  I am a huge Ann Taylor apparel fan!  My super petite mother has always shopped at Ann Taylor since I was little, and I remember going into her closet and trying on all of her Ann Taylor clothes while she was at work.  The Funny thing was that most of the time her clothes would actually fit me!  However, I guess that’s not much of a surprise considering she’s only 4’11 ft tall, but that is what is so wonderful about Ann Taylor.  They Offer such a great selection of petite clothing giving each individual piece that perfect tailored fit without having to visit the tailor.  Now tell me who doesn’t LOVE less trips to the Tailor?

Have a great day and happy shopping!
