Good morning everyone!  I’m so excited that I finally get to share this outfit with you!  I put this particular look together to show you a possible St. Patrick’s Day outfit. I have to say I was quite please with the finished product.

I am so happy that I finally found the perfect shade of mint green jeans at Rodeo boutique in Baton Rouge for the price of only $39!  I recently partnered with Rodeo so you will be seeing a lot more great pieces at amazing prices from their store!  The top I’m wearing is from a store called LF that I make sure to visit every year when I go to California to see my family.  LF stores carry only exclusive designer items so you’re guaranteed to find something unique!  I got my black fringe purse from Brenchley Shoes and Accessories in Mandeville a few years ago.  It’s such a fabulous purse, but I was hesitant to buy it at first because I was worried that the fringe would limit the amount of outfits I could pair it with.  However,  I have found that it works with a ton of different outfits.  Take a look at some of my previous posts to see for yourself.  I think it adds some edge to my look.

I wore my long single pendant necklace and cross wrap bracelet from Love with this outfit because both are casual pieces that complement the outfit without clashing with the brightness of the mint green pants.  Also, I think that wearing a long necklace with with a cropped top elongates your torso and balances out your shape.  I of course had to add my green tea Tory Burch wrap bracelet because it matched perfectly with the mint green denim.  What do you think of this look?

P.S. Yesterday, Karen Nelson filmed an interview on me and my blog for her broadcast class.  We had so much fun making the video and I can’t wait to share it with you all!  Have a wonderful Wednesday!

Precious Peplums

1) Green peplum dress (ASOS)    2) Green peplum top (ASOS)

3) Black peplum dress (desireclothing.co.uk)

4) Purple peplum dress (Alice an Olivia)   5) Purple peplum skirt (Alice and Olivia)

Good Morning everyone!  I absolutely adore peplums!  To me, a peplum adds such a feminine touch to an outfit.

I think a solid peplum top would look precious with a pair of floral or patterned cropped pants and some closed toe wedges or pointed toe heels.  When it comes to skirts with peplums I would stick to fitted tops and tailored blouses to prevent from taking the spotlight away from the peplum.   For peplum dresses all you need is a pair of sky high platform heels and a clutch and you’re all set!

I own dress #1 on the style board above and also a classic black peplum dress with an open back.  I will eventually post photos to show how I styled the both of those dresses so keep a look out!  Until then see “Fashion Forward Monday” to see how I still the Mackage dress with the removable peplum.  Also, I apologize that I still don’t have the photos from the last shoot, but Max has been quite busy lately.  However, he has assured me that he’ll have them to me as soon as he can!
