Gigi New York Stella Clutch Spring Launch

Good Morning everyone! It may be freezing in NYC, but we’ve already got warm weather on our minds as we launch the Gigi New York Stella Clutch in beautiful new pastel colors for spring! I’m obsessed with new azure color that Gigi New York recently introduced as well as the new shade of blush in pebble leather. Considering that Quartz and Serenity are the two pantone colors of 2016, Gigi is right on trend with these two new hues! My favorite part of the Stella clutch other than the new spring colors is the giant, chunky tassel detail on the zipper. On top of that, the clutch also comes with a removable cross body strap for your convenience, which I know is a deal breaker for most of you when it comes to carrying handbags while you’re out and about!

Favorite Chambray Shirt

This chambray shirt is still hands down my favorite chambray shirt ever! I’m sure you’ve seen me style this brand on my blog more than enough times to know that I’m in love with Bella Dahl. In case you’re new to Haute Off The Rack, you can see how else I’ve styled these shirts below:

The top featured in today’s post is called the Bella Dahl Split Back Button Down Shirt, which also comes in couple of the other washes too like white, dusk green, black and deep crimson. See here–> Split Back Button Up Shirt

It’s the perfect shirt for a day of playing tourist in the New Orleans French Quarter especially during Mardi Gras. Speaking of Mardi Gras, it’s going to be a beautiful weekend for parades all the way until Fat Tuesday! If you’re heading out to Bacchus & Endymion this weekend, I recommend wearing the following essentials!

Mardi Gras Parade Essentials:

1) Comfortable shoes for walking! I like wearing my Nikes or flat ankle boots!

2) Cross body bag

3) Casual warm jacket that can go day to night!

4) I suggest packing some gloves and a scarf for night time parades!

5) Sunglasses for the day time!

Homemade Dinner ‘Pho’ Valentine’s Day

Thank you to World Market for bringing you this post. All opinions are my own.

Every Valentine’s Day, Blake and I always get all dressed up and go out for a fancy dinner, but this year we’re trying something new; a homemade dinner! Over the past couple of years, we’ve started cooking more and attempting to whip up new dishes especially Blake. He never fails to impress me with his cooking, which is one of the qualities I love most about him. He is such a natural in the kitchen unlike me who spills everything everywhere and overcooks the pasta! With that being said, this year we’re going to attempt to make pho and spring rolls for a special date night together. I wish I could take credit for the perfectly wrapped spring rolls and delicious looking pho in the photos below, but that food is actually from a local restaurant that I used for the photo shoot. I can only hope that our meal will turn out that good!

I’m so excited for our new Valentine’s Day date night tradition of cooking together. However, there is a slight huge chance that I will let Blake take care of all the cooking and I’ll stick to setting the table. Speaking of table settings, check out how I styled my home  for Valentine’s Day with World Market below!
