Good Morning readers, how adorable is this flirty white ruffle dress from Shop Bella C? It’s the perfect Easter dress and it’s also available in a beautiful coral color too (see here). I love how the the style of the dress is feminine, yet simple and versatile. As you can see from the photos, I styled the dress three different ways with the three different pairs of shoes, handbags and jewelry. Which style is your favorite, the pink shoes and embroidered clutch, the fringe heels and bucket bag or the light blue pumps and blush clutch?

P.S. I’ve got a funny story about flowy dresses for you. So this past weekend I wore a mini floral dress with a ruffle hem to an outdoor couples shower in New Orleans. The weather was absolutely perfect for a crawfish boil couples shower! The sun was shinning and there was such a nice breeze in the air. Perhaps it was a little more breezy than I thought it was though because when I stopped at Walgreens along the way, the most dreadful thing happened!!! I got out of the car and the wind flung my dress right up in the air and almost over my head. Needless to say, I flashed everyone in the Walgreens parking lot! I mean everyone!!! It was so windy that I just couldn’t keep the dress down. I didn’t even bother trying to go inside. When we arrived to the party, I held my dress down as best I could and asked all of the other girls if they had an extra change of clothes. Of course no one did so I had to go with Plan B- the makeshift romper. Yes, that’s right! I safety pinned the dress in between my legs and turned that mini floral dress into quite the interesting romper. It was way better than flashing everyone at the party though. Am I right? Anyway, that’s my embarrassing story from the weekend. I hope enjoyed on my behalf! Word of advice, always keep a safety pin on you when wearing flowy dresses on windy days! Even if it doesn’t seem that windy!

Hi everyone, what do you think of this monochromatic outfit paired with my pastel blue pumps and blush Jenn bucket bag? I’m kind of obsessed with pastels for spring in case you haven’t already noticed! They compliment neutral colors so beautifully especially this light grey top from Page 6 Boutique. My favorite part about the top is the adorable ruffle detail on the hem. I feel like it adds a sweet and feminine touch to this all white look? How would you wear this top and will you be wearing pastels for spring?

Designing my very own handbag with Gigi New York has been like a dream come true for me and I cannot thank their team enough for making the Jenn Bucket Bag possible. For more on the design process, check out my interview from when we first launched the Jenn Bag this past fall here–> The Debut of The Jenn Bucket Bag & Jenn Bucket Bag Travels to NYC

Read my interview below for deets on the new colors for Spring 2015!

Describe your favorite feature of the Jenn Bucket Bag.

My favorite feature of the Jenn Bucket Bag is that it has both a short shoulder strap and a removable crossbody strap for convenience. I also love the texture of the embossed python body with the smooth pebble trim for added details.

We love the color Desert Rose for Spring! What made you pick this color from our new collection?

I am obsessed with all things pink right now especially blush! Honestly, I’ve been waiting for this bag in the Desert Rose color since we designed the Jenn Bucket Bag this past fall.

Describe 2 places you think you’ll take the Jenn Bucket Bag in Desert Rose

I have already taken my Jenn Bucket Bag in Desert Rose on a mini staycation at the Le Meridien Hotel in New Orleans and the Southern Hotel in Downtown Covington. I’ve also taken it out to my favorite café, Abita Roasting Co. for coffee and King Cake before running errands. However, I hope to take the Jenn bag on quite a few exciting adventures throughout 2015! So stay tuned for #JennBucketBagTravels!

How do you make this color transition from late winter to early spring?

The Desert Rose color is definitely considered a neutral with its gorgeous blush tone, which makes it super easy to transition into new seasons. The new Harbor Blue color is equally beautiful and can easily fit into the neutral family as well. Lately, I’ve been pairing mine with my distressed denim, ankle boots and my sleeveless trench or ivory moto jacket for a refreshing transitional look that still keeps me warm. Once spring officially arrives, you’ll see me toting around my Jenn bag while wearing espadrilles, cutoffs and beach cover-ups!

We know you have carried the Jenn Bucket Bag (in other colors) for some time now. Do you like the new colors we chose for Spring?

I of course still love my Stone and Navy bucket bags for Spring, but I’m so excited to incorporate these new pastel colors into my wardrobe! Like I mentioned earlier, I’ve been waiting for these soft spring pastels since fall.

Every time I’m in New Orleans, I always want to stop at Felipe’s on N Peters St. to chow down on some fish tacos or I like to run by District Donut on Magazine for some donut sliders. Right now they even have a special King Cake donut in honor of Carnival Season. Those are just two places, but don’t worry I have a whole list of all my favorite places to brunch, lunch, snack and dine in New Orleans!

My Favorite NOLA Brunch Spots:

My Favorite Snack Spots In NOLA:

First time in NOLA? Plan out your meals first! Can you tell I’m a foodie? It’s not just me, though—New Orleans is the place to dine! Once you finish your meal itinerary, pencil in a little shopping on Magazine Street and some leisure time to stroll through the St. Louis Cathedral in Jackson Square and the beautiful streets in the Garden District. I also love walking down Royal Street to admire all of the stunning old architecture, live street music and the brightly colored houses. If you want to try something really fun, schedule a cooking class at the New Orleans School of Cooking. You’ll be amazed at what you’ll learn! Plus, you get to enjoy wine and a little French Quarter history while you cook. They’ll even show you how to make homemade pralines! One more thing: Do me a favor and don’t leave the French Quarter without stopping for beignets at Café Du Monde or Café Beignet! I promise that they’re worth it!

Shopping: I love shopping at Haus 131, Elle boutique and Sincerely Luxe on Magazine St. as well as the Shops at Canal Place. I always like to stop at Emma’s Shoes and Candy Apple in Metairie on the way to the city as well.

This post was brought to you by the Glitter Guide. A huge thanks to my amazing team for making this post possible!
