Baby P Nursery Reveal
Happy Friday everyone, I’m so excited to finally share Baby P’s nursery reveal with you before his big arrival. I’ve been working on his room with Pottery Barn Kids over the past few months and we finally completed it a couple of weeks ago. I have to say that even though babies don’t start sleeping in their rooms for a while, it feels good to have the nursery complete with everything else going on in the world. If you’re currently expecting, now is a great time to dive into your nursery and baby projects while you’re home with some extra time. I’m officially 38 weeks today so the countdown is on for me.
As for the design concept of the room, it took me a while to figure that out because I’m so girly when it comes to decorating the rest of the rest of the house and Blake doesn’t seem to mind as long there is a TV involved. Haha! So trying to come up with a theme that reflects my personal style while also fit for a little boy was quite the challenge. Fortunately, I had you all to help me and once we picked out the wallpaper for the accent wall, it was all easy from there. Everything just seemed to fall into place once the walls were ready so I suggest starting with your paint or wallpaper before moving onto the rest of the room. The other three walls in the room are painted with Sherwin Williams color match to Benjamin Moore Revere Pewter HC-172.

I chose Pottery Barn Kids for all of my furniture and decorations because they offer such a wide variety of options and styles. Plus not only are all of PBK’s products beautiful, but they also provide you with Greenguard gold certified furniture and organic cottons, which are safe and healthy for my baby. This was something that was really important to me because you want make sure that everything you’re allowing your baby to breath in on a daily basis is safe for them and Pottery Barn Kids really lived up to this expectation. Every piece of furniture that I received from them was chemical and odor free so I didn’t even have to leave the items to sit out for a while. Also, it was so nice having their delivery team put together the dresser and crib for me and place it in the baby’s room upon delivery.

I ended up choosing a soft and gentle blue color with gold accents for a glam yet calming feel in the room. Also, you can’t go wrong with classic blue and white when it comes to a baby boy.

How I Cozied Up My Living Room For Fall With At Home
Hey everyone, I hope you’re all doing well. I know it’s a been a little while since my last blog post, but I took some time off after my birthday before busy season begins. Then of course right when I was ready to get back to work Blake and I were struck with a stomach bug. Fortunately, I’m back in the office today and I’m sharing how I cozied up my living room for fall with my local At Home store.
At Home carries a wide variety of furniture pieces, bedding, home accessories and decorative objects at affordable prices. They’ve got you covered from your kitchen and your living room to all your bedrooms and bathrooms. They even carry outdoor furniture and accessories too. Scroll through this post to see how I spruced up my living room for fall with At Home.

The first aisle I always like to visit at my local At Home store is the throw pillow aisle because throw pillows are like stuffed animals for adult women. LOL Not only do I find throw pillows lovable, but they’re also the easiest way to give your living room or bedding a little update. Changing up your pillows can shift the whole look of the room.
If you follow along with Haute Off The Rack regularly, then you know my living room was super bright and colorful this past spring and summer. So I decided to shift gears back into neutral with these grey velvet pillows and textured throws for Fall. I think they will transition nicely into holiday too.

After passing through the pillow aisle, I always like to stop and and admire all of the decorative little objects like these pretty little pumpkins. I made sure to grab two with each of our initials to place on our mantel. I even came across these beautiful ‘gather’ sign that I placed in the center of the mantle surrounded by greenery and pumpkins.
I don’t know if it’s because travel is such huge part of my life, but I always gravitate towards decorative globes. I already have two displayed in my home, but when I spotted this one at my local At Home store, I knew I needed him too.
Last but not least, I scooped up some lanterns, mini hay bales and candles from At Home before picking up some pumpkins and mums at my local feed and seed store. The lanterns and hay bales added the perfect touches to my front porch pumpkin display for fall.

Summer Home Decor Update
Hey everyone, if you follow me on Instagram (@hauteofftherack), then you know that I made a few updates to our living room this past spring with Caitlin Wilson Design and most recently we added some new furniture to our front porch. I based the whole living room color scheme off of a painting of Italy that I had commissioned by Christina Fontenot Art.
Just to give a little background on the artist, I met her through a mutual friend and fell in love with her gold textured pieces of art so when we finally bought our first home two years ago, I asked Christina to paint 3 gold oysters for our dining room. We loved them so much and got so many compliments on them that we asked her to create one for the living room too! I wanted the new painting to reflect something significant in our lives so we asked her to paint a map of Italy where we got engaged. I also requested that we incorporate lots of color to make a statement in our neutral living room! Well Christina far exceeded my expectations and the pillows I picked out from Caitlin Wilson Design paired beautiful with our new piece of art.
Scroll through this post to see how I livened up my living room for spring and summer with a new custom painting and some beautiful printed pillows from Caitlin Wilson Design.
