Hi everyone and Happy 4th of July weekend! I hope you all have fun vacations or fun plans with friends for the holiday weekend. I’m actually staying put for once and to catch up on all of the work that I got behind on while I was traveling in Europe. I actually wore this outfit today and shot it with my photographer before we headed to a local coffee shop to get some work done. What a fun way to spend a beautiful summer day, right? I know, I know…it’s lame, but you gotta what you gotta do in order to enjoy the rest of your summer.
Anyway, these slip on mules from Sole Society are the perfect pair of casual “work” shoes for me when I want to be comfortable, but still look presentable for a blog/work meeting and then hop over to lunch with friends. I realize that my summer “work style” is very different from the typical office dress code, but these shoes will surely comply with any company dress guidelines. Plus they’re super cute to wear on the weekend with causal jeans and a tank like I wore here in these photos. Scroll through this post to see how I styled my slip on mules. As I mentioned, they’re great for casual summer looks, but I also think these shoes will easily fit with my wardrobe year round. I also love this tan pair from Sole Society too.
This dainty crescent necklace has quickly become one of my favorite everyday pieces to wear during the summer and the best part is that happens to be under $60.
