The Jennifer Smocked Puff Sleeve Dress is feminine, flattering and so comfortable with a hint of boho-chic. I know this will be a go-to dress for brunch, summer trips, baby showers, wedding festivities and so much more. It’s especially perfect for Mother’s Day coming up. I made sure to choose a breathable fabric for summer that is also wrinkle resistant too. When it comes to styling the dress, wear it with sandals and hat for daytime or throw on some heels and statement earrings to dress it up. I love to play up the boho-chic vibes by pairing it with a wide brim hat, layered necklaces and hoop earrings. Oh and the white is perfect for brides too!

Design details: I designed it with a cinched bust for a flattering neckline and plenty of stretch so you don’t have to deal with zippers or sucking in. I also made sure to choose a super lightweight fabric and added a slit for flow and to show off a little more leg for spring and summer. My favorite part is the option to wear the puff sleeves on or off the shoulder!

Sizing: Be sure to size down because Gibsonlook runs large. I am wearing the size XXS and it’s still comfortable a spacious enough to move around in. I designed the Jennifer Smocked Puff Sleeve Dress with a midi length but if you’re petite like me (aka 5 ft) the dress will hit you right at the ankle, which still looks great with both flat sandals and heels. It’s also fully lined so you don’t have to worry about it being see through. However, you do need to wear a nude bra or nipple covers with the white dress because the bust isn’t lines.

The Jennifer Shirt Dress is comfortable, versatile and effortlessly chic, which is no surprise since it was especially designed with my Haute Off The Rack girls in mind. This dress can take you from the work week to the weekend and everything in between. It features an adjustable hidden waist tie, 3/4 sleeves, side pockets and buttons all the way down the front so you can wear it open! I made sure to choose a breathable fabric for summer that is also wrinkle resistant too. When it comes to styling the dress, wear it causally with sandals and a hat or dress it up with heels and a belt. You can even throw it over cutoff shorts and a tank for an everyday summer look. I especially love wearing it as a swim coverup! I have a feeling that the Jennifer Shirt Dress will sell out super fast so be sure to pre-order yours today!

How to Wear Duster Cardigans

Happy Friday everyone! I’m excited to show how to wear duster cardigans today by sharing all of the different ways that I’ve styled my own duster cardigans that I designed with Gibsonlook. If you follow along with me regularly then you know that I just released my third duster cardigan design with Gibsonlook last week. We launched the first cozy duster cardigan in toasted almond and grey this past fall followed by a glam gold duster for holiday. As for my latest duster design, we went with a lightweight knit for spring and summer. It has the same flowy fit and style as the cozy duster, but this one has a nice breathable fabric for the warmer months ahead. It’s perfect to throw over a casual outfit or even swimsuit like I did during my last beach trip. I made sure to include a removable waist tie on all three dusters so you can loosely tie them in the back to cinch in the waist to your liking. I also designed the duster to have deep side slits for an effortless flow when you walk.

This knit fabric is super lightweight and breathable so you don’t have to worry about it getting too hot in it and it’s the perfect natural shade to go with everything.

I wore my knit duster as a swim coverup over the weekend. It was the perfect weight for the weather and it’s machine washable too.

One of the main reasons why I wanted a knit duster for spring was to wear with cutoff shorts in the early months for extra coverage before I feel fully comfortable enough to rock the shorts with bare legs.
