3 Spring Break Outfits from Mud Pie

Hey everyone, I’m so glad that we’re officially in full on spring mode and spring break is just around the corner, which means it’s time to start shopping for resortwear outfits. I found the cutest coverups, accessories and resortwear looks at Mud Pie and the best part is that they are all budget friendly too.

Scroll through this post to see how I styled 3 different spring break outfits from Mud Pie.

Outfit 1: Kiara Tassel Cover Up in Blue ℅ Mud Pie

Take 10% OFF your entire Mud Pie purchase with code: SPRING10 (ends June 1, 2019)

The second I saw the back of this coverup, I knew I needed it! The open back with tassel details is everything. Plus the white pom pom trim along the sleeves and hem is precious. It’s also available in a couple of other colors. Mud Pie also offers tons of other coverup options if tassels aren’t your thing.

Outfit 2: Brandi Tassel Poncho in Blue Stripe, Raffia Fringe Straw Boater Hat & Rattan Circle Crossbody Bag in Natural ℅ Mud Pie

Take 10% OFF your entire Mud Pie purchase with code: SPRING10 (ends June 1, 2019)

How fun is this blue and white striped coverup trimmed with pink tassles? It’s perfect for throwing over your swimsuit and it’s even cute to wear with a pair of cutoff shorts and sandals around beachy and resort areas. As for this boater hat, it may be one of my new favorite accessories. I just love the raw raffia style of it and it actually fits comfortably. Sometimes boater hats are kind of awkwardly stiff and look too big, but this one fits perfectly. Oh yea and it’s only $28 so it’s pretty much a no brainer.

If you don’t already have a rattan circle bag for spring and summer, you need to get on that. It’s the perfect finishing touch to all of your springy and beachy outfits! I highly recommend this crossbody bag from Mud Pie. Especially because it’s under $55.

Outfit 3: Hayes Cold Shoulder Romper in White & Raffia Fringe Straw Boater Hat ℅ Mud Pie

Take 10% OFF your entire Mud Pie purchase with code: SPRING10 (ends June 1, 2019)

This cold shoulder romper is super comfortable and casual enough for all day wear. Plus it has pockets and can easily be dressed up for night time with some wedges and a clutch. It also comes in a few other colors and for size reference, I’m wearing the size small.

Limited Edition Genevieve Bucket Bag

Happy Friday everyone! I’m so excited to launch this special limited edition Genevieve Bucket Bag with GiGi New York today. The Genevieve style was so popular during fall and winter that we decided to bring it back in this fun limited edition red pom pom raffia style for spring. If you missed my first post about this bag, I designed the Genevieve bag last fall to bring with me to Paris. See here—> The Mini Genevieve Bucket Bag

If you love the bag in this print, don’t waste any time before ordering because as I mentioned it’s a limited edition so there are only 25 bags available for purchase.  The Genevieve will also be available in multiple other colors for spring including the two newest colors available for preorder: buttercup and white

About the Genevieve: I designed the mini bucket bag because I wanted a chic and stylish bag that is also convenient, versatile and practical. The Genevieve is all of that in one. She’s the perfect size to wear as a small crossbody, but still big enough to fit all of your essentials. She is also right on trend this season with her boho silhouette and textured pom print. And not only can the Genevieve be worn multiple ways with her adjustable handles and removable crossbody strap, but she also goes with an endless array of styles and day to night outfits.

The Top 5 Shoes You Need For Spring 2019

Hey everyone, I hope you had a great weekend. Today I’m sharing the top 5 pairs of shoes you need for Spring 2019. Shoes and bags are my weakness so they’re always the first thing I shop for each season. Plus they’re the most fun to shop for because your shoe size always remains the same even if you put on a few extra pounds over the winter. LOL You can always depend on shoes to still fit you the same! Scroll through this post to see which shoes I purchased for myself for spring.

1) The Micro Wedge | I highly suggest a short wedge sandal that you can easily dress up or down with all of your spring outfits. They are especially great for vacations because your feet can last longer in a shorter pair of heels. I love these Leera Wedges by Vince Camuto and they come in a ton of different colors.

2) The Platform Wedge | While micro wedges are easy and practical, I also love me some chunky platform wedges to wear out with little spring dresses and matching sets. I love how they elongate my legs especially in a tan color that matches my skin tone. I highly recommend the Glyn Wedge Espadrilles and these laser cut Wedge Espadrilles.

3) The Everyday Sneaker | I can’t get enough of everyday sneakers lately. It’s all I want to wear especially during this awkward in between season time of year. I love my Golden Goose Sneakers, but I know those are pretty pricey so here a couple of other sneakers I like too.

I also love these neutral colored sneakers by Vince Camuto because they go with everything and the perforated style makes them perfect for warm days.

4) The Statement Shoe | I always love having a statement shoe for every season and right now crisp white and clear details are having a huge moment so mix them tougher and you have the perfect trendy statement shoe. I love these white lucite pumps (also available here).

5) The Metallic Slide | I wore these slide sandals all last spring and summer in both rose gold and tan. In fact, I liked them so much that I scooped up a third pair during the Shopbop Sale in the rose gold color again because I wore that color the most so it was time for a new pair.

What is your favorite shoe trend for Spring 2019?

The Handbag Everyone Will Be Carrying This Season

Hey everyone, I’m so excited that tomorrow is the first day of March because that means spring is near and I can start wearing wedges and florals again. Today I’m sharing the wedges you’re going to need this spring and the latest handbag trend that is all the rage right now.

The Vince Camuto Leera espadrille sandals are the perfect wedges for spring because they come in tons of colors and the heel is only 3.25 inches so they aren’t too high, which means they’re comfortable for all day wear. They look precious with this ruffled floral skirt and they look also look great with cutoff shorts and t-shirt too. These wedges are super easy for dressing up and down. I always like to make sure I have neutral colored wedge so I chose tan, but I also like the blush, coral and leopard print too. Which color do you like best in the Vince Camuto Leera espadrille sandals?

The clear boxy tote is the handbag that everyone will be carrying this season. We started seeing the trend more in 2018, but it will be huge for 2019. I especially love this mini pink embossed tote and this large white one by Vince Camuto. They instantly make your outfit look more chic and stylish. Plus it’s fresh look for spring and summer. You’ll also be seeing a little of clear sandal straps too.
