Good Morning readers!  Remember when I told you about IZAVEL on Sneak Peek Sunday?  Well, here it is!  Isabel Varela, designer of IZAVEL and I decided to give Haute Off The Rack readers an exclusive first look at her Fall 2012 collection.  Get ready for some Fall trend forecasting with this incredible contemporary womenswear line based out of Dallas, Texas.

I actually styled this lambskin leather piece with three different outfits to show the versatility of the vest, and unsurprisingly the vest added that WOW factor to each ensemble.  That just goes to prove that sometimes all you need is one new item of clothing to freshen up your wardrobe and give you a whole new look.  I had a blast styling IZAVEL’s Fall 2012 collection, and I hope you enjoy seeing Isabel’s fashion forward designs as much I loved styling them!

IZAVEL Company Overview:

IZAVEL creates sleek modern shapes to give an unexpected twist to classic, tailored styles. Handcrafted from start to finish with luxurious fabric, each piece will allow you to convey individuality, confidence and style that is truly one of a kind. Inspired by everything from architecture and music to everyday objects, IZAVEL creates fashion-forward details with stark asymmetric silhouettes which work together to bring a unique twist to each of her designs (IZAVEL Facebook page).

P.S. I will repost this once Fall 2012 actually rolls around!!

Mint Chip by Rory Beca

Outfit: Mint Chip tie front blouse (Rory Beca) <– SALE item, Black dress shorts (Urban Outfitters old but similar here), Seafoam Wedges (The Brighton by Dee Keller), Cat eye sunglasses (Urban Outfitters)

Jewelry:  San Benito pendant necklace (VSA available at Park Lane in Lafayette), Gold cross necklace (Love), Two tone watch (Michael Kors) Classic Pave’ link bracelet (J. Crew), Leather hobo purse (Marc by Marc Jacobs)

Good Morning readers!  How beautiful is this Rory Beca blouse in Mint Chip?  Out of all the bright, pastel and neon colors flourishing this season mint green still remains my favorite, and Rory Beca just so happened to create the perfect shade and combination of mint green and sea foam for her Spring 2012 collection.  This silk top contains just the right amount of fabric for that effortlessly chic look where it fits loose for comfort, but still holds a feminine shape.  Rory Beca’s bio says that her underlying goal is to design clothes that make women feel pretty, sexy and comfortable.  I can personally vouch that her line does indeed make a woman feel all three of those characteristics. If you’re interested in more pieces by Rory Beca, you can search select boutiques worldwide and select Nordstrom, Saks Fifth Avenue, and Neiman Marcus, as well as online at shopbop.com and revolveclothing.com.

Mother Knows Best Part 2

Jewelry: Arrow necklace (Thank you to the Cuckoo’s Nest, similar (here), Suede Penny Lariat Necklace (Thank to Samanca),  Ivory beaded bracelet (Thank you to Femme Fatale), Wrap watch (La Mer fromThe Villa), beaded wrap bracelet (here), David Yurman ring

Good Morning readers!  I know what you’re thinking, “Wait, she’s already posted this same outfit in Mother Knows Best Part 1!”  Well, the first time I photographed this outfit I didn’t like the way I styled my hair.  I felt like it didn’t fit well with the overall look  plus I forgot to show a few different angles of these jeans, and these jeans need to be seen! I tried not to change too much about the outfit because I really did love the original look of it, but I didn’t have everything from the original.  Thats is why I am wearing a slightly different blouse, a few other accessories and carrying a different purse.  I just love the pop of color from the Rebecca Minkoff Mini Mac bag!  To me, this outfit screams the 70s, but I’m not the only one who feels this way about Mother Denim.  According to writer, Esther Adams from the Vogue Daily, “this is your go-to brand for seventies styles with irresistible stroke-worthy appeal.”  If you’re interested in learning more about Mother Denim, check out this awesome interview on Denimology.

Mother Knows Best Part 1

Outfit: The Curfew Bell-Bottom jeans (Mother Denim from The Mix), White blouse (Joie from The Mix),  Aqua bandeaux (Frock Candy), Platform shoes (Charles by Charles David, Thank you to Park Lane), Fringe purse (LuLu’s)

Jewelry: Arrow necklace (Thank you to the Cuckoo’ Nest), Suede Penny Lariat Necklace (Thank to Samanca), Rings (Banana Republic) Ivory beaded bracelet (Thank you to Femme Fatale),  Michael Kors watch (old similar here), Pyramid Studded Cuff (Style Tryst from The Mix)

Good Morning readers! Let me start off by saying that when it comes to denim, Mother knows best.  No, I’m not talking about my own mother I’m talking about designers Tim Kaeding, former designer for 7 for All Mankind, and Lela Tillem, former president of sales and marketing at Citizens for Humanity who collaborated together to create this killer brand.  These are the most amazingly comfortable, yet flattering pair of jeans I have ever worn!  That is probably because Tim Kaeding has been experimenting with materials that feel like cashmere, but look like denim for the past two years.  What a genius! Right? I don’t know about you all, but some mornings I wake up and want to wear nothing more than a pair of comfy yoga pants.  Kaeding has acknowledged this and says that in order “for jeans to make a comeback, technology has to step in” (http://www.vogue.com).  That explains why it doesn’t even feel like I’m wearing real jeans.  However, Mother doesn’t just pride on texture, the designer duo continually develop new fits.  I am going to stop here because I have a Mother Knows Best Part 2 coming soon and will finish telling you all about this to-die-for brand.
