Budget Friendly Outfits for Transitioning into Fall
Hey everyone, today I’ve teamed up with Walmart to share some budget friendly outfits and pieces to help you transition into fall. It might be blazing hot here in Louisiana, but I’ve got fall on my mind because that’s the only thing keeping me sane in this crazy heat. I’m literally counting down the days until we at least have one full day without reaching 90 degrees. At least we have these cute outfits to look forward to wearing in the fall. Plus they’re all under $50 and you can start wearing them now.
Scroll through this post to read how I would style these affordable looks for both summer and fall.

How cute is this ruffle maxi dress for under $26 at Walmart! It also comes in blush and black too.

Ruffle Maxi Dress (wearing sz S) | Similar Ankle Strap Heels | Panama Hat
This beautiful mustard yellow maxi dress is perfect for finishing out the summer in. Then for fall, add a hat, faux leather jacket and ankle booties. I also think this dress would look super cute with a belt too. As for the color, I love the mustard yellow for transitioning into fall, but it also comes in black and blush too.

Outfit: Sweater Tank (wearing sz S) | Leopard Print Midi Skirt (wearing sz S)
Pair this sweater tank with some cutoff shorts and ankle boots for the summer. Then swap the shorts for jeans and add a jacket to transition into fall. I also love this top paired with my leopard print midi skirt, but I had to knot it to accentuate my waist. Once get some cooler weather, I would consider pairing a chunkier knit with the skirt and draping a faux leather jacket over the outfit. Both pieces are under $20 at Walmart.

How To Give Your Summer Dresses Fall Vibes
Hey everyone, today I’m showing you how to give your summer dresses fall vibes with Sole Society! If you live in the south like myself, then you know it’s way too hot to even entertain the idea of buying new jeans and chunky sweaters. What you can do though is take the outfits you already own for summer and add a cozy twist to transition into fall. The easiest way to do this is by throwing in some fall accessories like hats and bags or even ankle booties like I did in today’s outfit post. Scroll through this post to see how I gave this little summer dress a touch of fall with my accessories from Sole Society.

How to Wear Sleeveless Tops Now & Later!
Hey everyone, I hope you all had a nice weekend. As promised, today I’m sharing my latest Evereve try-on session + how to style each look for both summer and fall. I can’t beleieve we’re already taking about fall, but I’m so ready for it! It’s been 95+ degrees here in Louisiana lately so I’ve been turned down the AC super low in my house lately and dreaming of fall. I’m sure my husband doesn’t appreciate it, but a girl has got to dream right?

Scroll through this post to see how I styled each look two different ways. All of the pieces from today’s post are available at Evereve. You can also head over to my Instagram stories for videos of the try-on session.
For size reference, I’m 5 ft | bust size: 34 B | Tops & Dresses size small (2-4) | Bottoms 26/27 in jeans.

How to Wear Sleeveless Tops Now & Later!
Outfit 1 for summer: Rolling Stones Tee (wearing sz s)| Parker Shorts (wearing sz 27, but the 26 fits too— these run a little big, but I got the 27 for comfort) | Greece Sandals (size up a half size)
Since I’m petite (5 ft), I always like to knot the front of my tees for a cute cropped look because it helps lengthen my legs when wearing high waisted bottoms. This rolling stones inspired tee is so comfy and cute for casual everyday wear.

Outfit 1 for Fall: Rolling Stones Tee (wearing sz S)| Good Legs Crop Fray Hem (runs TTS —wearing sz 4/27) | Grey Jenny Cardigan (wearing sz XS)
To style the tee for fall, I did swap out the cutoff shorts for some jeans and added cardigan. I would also throw on some ankle booties to complete the look.
Alteration Note: Since I’m only 5 ft, I did get both pairs jeans cut and tapered at the bottom!

Outfit 2 for Summer: Tiger Face Tank (wearing sz S) | Parker Shorts (wearing sz 27, but the 26 fits too— these run a little big, but I got the 27 for comfort)
I picked out this Tiger Face Tank because I thought it would be perfect for an LSU game day look.

Outfit 2 for Fall: Tiger Face Tank (wearing sz S) | Black Good Legs Jeans (wearing sz 4/27 — runs TTS) | Spirit in the Sky Cardigan (wearing sz XS/S) | Wide Brim Hat | Black Raven Booties

Outfit 3 for Summer: Tegan Fray Edge Cami | Parker Shorts (wearing sz 27, but the 26 fits too— these run a little big, but I got the 27 for comfort)

Outfit 3 for Fall: Tegan Fray Edge Cami | Good Legs Crop Fray Hem (runs TTS —wearing sz 4/27) | Spirit in the Sky Cardigan (wearing sz XS/S) | Wide Brim Hat | Lida Wedge Sandal (these shoes go with everything and they’re so comfortable!)
I absolutely love this orange colored tank because it transitions so beautifully into fall and I’m all about a pop of color. I also love this cardigan because it’s nice and airy for those early days of fall when when you don’t quite need a sweater, but you want to wear your fall clothes anyway.

Outfit 4 for Summer: Jordane Leopard Cami (wearing sz S) | Good Legs Crop Fray Hem (runs TTS —wearing sz 4/27)

Outfit 4 for Fall: Jordane Leopard Cami (wearing sz S) | Black Good Legs Jeans (wearing sz 4/27 — runs TTS) | Grey Jenny Cardigan (wearing sz XS) | Wide Brim Hat | Black Raven Booties

Outfit 5 for transitioning into Fall: Leopard Strappy Cami (wearing sz S) | Parker Shorts| Grey Jenny Cardigan (wearing sz XS) | Wide Brim Hat | Lida Wedge Sandal (these shoes go with everything and they’re so comfortable!)
For outfit 5, instead of showing you how to wear it for fall, I thought I’d show you the perfect kind of outfit to wear during that awkward phase in between summer and fall.

Everything You Need For Effortless Boho Waves
Hi everyone, in case you missed it, I finally filmed my most requested video, which is how I curl my hair and create effortless boho waves! Let me start by saying that I’m no professional hairstylist! These are just my own personal tips and tricks to creating an effortless wave! You can check out the full video below!
As I mentioned in the video, I believe that every good hair day starts with a good shampoo and conditioner! With that being said, I use a few different types throughout the week: a purple shampoo, which is vital if you have highlights or any color in your hair & a clarifying shampoo that gets rid of product buildup like all that dry shampoo, texturizing spray and hair spray. I also like to use volumizing shampoo and conditioner for extra volume and a moisturizing shampoo and conditioner at least once a week.
Be sure to watch the video for all of the other products I use and you can shop them in the style board below!

Row 1 | Kevin Murphy Doo Over Dry Powder | Kevin Murphy Leave-In Conditioner | Kevin Murphy Young Again | Kevin Murphy Blonde Angel Wash And Rinse
Row 2 | ‘Detox’ Dry Shampoo | Triple Sec 3-in-1 Texturizer | Hot Toddy Heat Protectant Mist | Volume-Boosting Mousse | Clarifying Charcoal Shampoo | Replenishing Conditioner
Row 3 | Kérastase Conditioner | Kérastase Bodifying Shampoo | Kérastase Conditioner Damaged Hair | Kérastase Shampoo Damaged Hair | Lisse Luxe Hair Turban Aquis |
Row 4 | Buttercup Blow Dryer | Daily Detangler | Whirl Trio Interchangeable Styling Wand Set | Professional Digital Ionic Hair Dryer | Pure Silk Pillowcase

I always use Oribe Dry Texturizing Spray all over my hair before I start curling. I demonstrate exactly how I use in the video.

I love my t3 Micro Whirl Trio Interchangeable Wand. I always use the 1.5 inch barrel.

This is how my hair looks after letting it set for 20 minutes and then brushing out the curls using a wet brush and adding more texturing spray and hair spray.

Outfit: Black Bodysuit | Leopard Print Skirt | Ray-Ban Sunglasses | Chloe Tess Bag
If I’m going to be out all day, I make sure to use a strong hold hair spray like this Kerastase Laque Noire Strong Hold Hair Spray or Salon Grafix Freezing Hair Spray Mega Hold.
