Good Morning readers, I hope you’re all excited to find out the winner of the Amanda Uprichard Leather Martini Peplum top giveaway tomorrow as well as spending Thanksgiving day with family and friends. I cannot wait to sit down for a delicious meal tomorrow and enjoy some relaxation time. Thanksgiving day is definitely in my top three favorite holidays!
About the Outfit: On Monday you saw how I styled the Pegasus Necklace with the Amanda Uprichard Leather Combo Mojito dress (The Leather Mojito), and yesterday you saw it paired with the Jolie & Elizabeth Chelsea dress in Burgundy (Nude & Wine). Today I’ve styled it with holiday dress number three, the Navy Sheer Mimi dress. Originally when I received this dress I wasn’t sure what I thought of it, but once I put it on I was shocked to see how flattering the fit was. It’s such a classy and elegant dress, and best of all it comes in the year round color navy. I especially love how the higher waist band lengthens my legs and accentuates the slimmest part of my waist! All I did to style the dress was add a pair of red suede pumps for a pop of color and the gold Pegasus necklace to brighten up the neckline. Speaking of the Pegasus necklace, after viewing all three outfits together, I can’t decide which dress I like it paired best with! Which one was your favorite! Refer to the photos below!

The Leather Mojito

Outfit: The Leather Combo Mojito Dress c/o (Thank you to Amanda Uprichard), Black & Gold Cap Toe Pumps (Frock Candy),
Jewelry: Michael Kors watch, Banana Republic ring, Pegasus Statement Necklace (Stella & Dot)
Good Morning readers, I hope you all had a wonderful weekend and are looking forward to the Thanksgiving holiday this week. I can’t wait to get away from work for a while and just enjoy time with family and friends before I take on a few more new Haute Off The Rack clients for Christmas shopping and wardrobe styling sessions for upcoming holiday events. Speaking of holiday events, I would most definitely recommend wearing this dress and/or necklace to a cocktail attire Christmas party. I love how this dress has just the right amount of leather to play into this season’s hottest trend plus it still has a classic and flattering fit. And not to mention, how chic do black and navy look together. I think the black leather makes it a little sexy, but the navy silk keeps it classy and sophisticated. If you want to dress it down some I think it would look great with some opaque tights and black, heeled ankle boots.
As far as the Stella and Dot Pegasus necklace, well that piece of jewelry speaks for itself! It will surely add instant glam to any holiday outfit especially if you’re trying to stand out in a little black dress. I also love how the necklace accents the gold in the cap toe pumps. Get ready to see a few more holiday dresses styled with the Pegasus necklace over the next few days!

Wake Up and Smell the Roses!

Photos by: Casey Schieb
Outfit: Eva Poncho c/o (Thank you to Johnny Was), Citizens of Humanity Rocket Leatherette in Saddle (Love),
Dolce Vita Suede Penn Booties (Love), Chanel Rouge Allure lipstick in Rouge Noir (Thank you to Saks &Rodeo)
Good Morning readers! Wake up and smell the roses! When my photographer, Casey sent over these images to me last night and I saw the photos of me smelling the beautiful red rose I of course thought of the saying “Wake up and smell the roses.” The timing of that couldn’t have been more perfect. With Thanksgiving right around the corner it’s time to take a look around and reevaluate your life. What are you thankful for? What makes you happy? What doesn’t? And what can you improve on?
Right now I’m thankful for a bed to sleep in, this crisp cold weather, and all of my supportive friends, family and boyfriend. Something that makes me happy is every night before I go to bed I look forward to waking up in the morning because I get to have a cup of coffee. I don’t know about you, but for me drinking a cup of coffee is lot like waking up and smelling the roses. It gives me time to stop, think, relax and if you will put my life on pause for a few moments each morning. Something that makes me unhappy is all of the little critters running around above my ceiling and keeping up all night! I swear it sounds like this animal is literally trying to cut through my bedroom wall with a mini handsaw. I’m not even exaggerating! A mini handsaw!! Not to worry though I’ve already called the pest control. Something I can improve on is better prioritizing my time. Who’s with me on that one?
As for the outfit, I am just in love with the beautiful intricate embroidery on this poncho sent to me from Johnny Was. It’s such a great casual piece to wear with booties and leggings during the fall or with white denim jeans during the spring and summer. For this particular outfit, I decided to put a little spin on this boho chic top by pairing it with a pair of Citizens of Humanity leatherette rocket skinnies, which by the way are currently my most comfortable pair of jeans right now!
P.S. I just want to say that I’ve have been enjoying hearing everything that you all are thankful for on the Amanda Uprichard Giveaway post as well as how you’d style the leather martini peplum top! Click the ad below for details on how to win the Amanda Uprichard Leather Peplum Top Giveaway!

14 Ways to Style an LBD

You know those mornings when you roll out of bed and have no idea what to wear to work, or those Friday nights when nothing in your closet seems to fit right? How about that statement necklace that you’ve been dying to wear, but it doesn’t match with anything in your closet? Those frustrating times don’t call for Plan B. They call for a clever little tactic I like to call Plan LBD, also known as “little black dress.”
Every woman should own a little black dress. They help avoid those unwanted “outfit meltdowns.” I bet most of you think that in the fashion world, LBD only stands for “little black dress.” But it also stands for “limit bad days.” A little black dress always does the trick. Not only are little black dresses classy and slimming, but they also go with everything in your closet. And to prove its versatility, I have come up with 14 ways to help limit bad days. Prepare to be amazed as I style this simple little black dress 14 ways.

1) Show your inner animal with some cheetah print pumps and tone them down with a neutral-colored blazer.
2) Pull out the colors in printed scarves with bright-colored shoes.
3) Accentuate your curves with a waist belt wrapped around your entire outfit.

4) Look fierce and glamorous in faux fur vest and knee high boots!
5) Break out that gorgeous statement necklace you’ve been dying to wear and accent it with some gold cap-toe pumps.
6) You’ll look feminine and sassy in hot pink blazer and nude pumps.

7) Stay warm and cozy in a printed waterfall cardigan with knee-high boots and knit beret.
8) Look perfect and polished for work in minimal black and white.
9) Accessorize with vibrant-colored scarves and jewelry. Keep the rest of the outfit simple with black or taupe booties.

10) Feel effortlessly cool and casual with a sleeveless open cardigan and peep-toe ankle boots.
11) Sparkle and shine at upcoming holiday parties with a sequin blazer.
12) Rock a leather jacket and strappy black heels for that cool biker chic look.

13 & 14) Go for fun and casual with some leopard loafers and a boyfriend blazer or try a pair of gold snake loafers with a skinny waist belt.
