The Most Delicious Fall and Halloween Treat Recipe
Hey everyone, today I’ve teamed up with Betsey Johnson to share the most delicious fall and Halloween treat recipe with you. If you keep up with my Instagram stories then I’m sure you remember the delicious s’mores bars that I showed you how to make for upcoming Halloween parties. I never like to show up to a party empty handed so I figured I would share a treat I enjoyed making so you don’t have to show up empty handed either.
As for my costume, I haven’t even had a minute to think of an idea between dealing with pregnancy symptoms and trying to catch up on work from all of the days I spent sick in bed. Fortunately, I found these super cute embellished black booties for fall and scooped up this adorable kitsch head crossbody bag at Betsey Johnson so I can still look fun and festive for the party without having to dress up in costume. You can always count on Betsey Johnson to have unique and over the top shoes and accessories. I especially love these rhinestone booties for holiday and I know these embellished black booties will pair perfectly with upcoming holiday outfits.
Fun Fact: I went to the Betsey Johnson show years ago during NYFW and she did a flip at the end of her show. I never forgot that because I thought it was so funny!

Ingredients:
- Butter
- Graham cracker crumbs
- Brown sugar
- Eggs
- Flour
- Baking powder
- Salt
- Vanilla
- Chocolate chips
- Marshmallows
- Milk chocolate candy bar
HOW TO MAKE S’MORES BARS
- Preheat oven. Preheat oven to 325°F and line a 9×13 baking dish with foil. Spray with nonstick cooking spray.
- Make graham cracker crust. Combine melted butter and graham cracker crumbs in a small bowl with a fork. Press crust down into baking dish and set aside.
- Combine dough ingredients. In a large bowl, cream together butter and sugar. Add in eggs and vanilla and stir until combined. In a separate bowl, mix the baking powder and salt with 1 cup of flour. Then pour flour mixture into the butter mixture and stir in the rest of the flour. Fold in chocolate chips and marshmallows.
4. Assemble dough in baking dish. Press dough into pan with a spatula or flour on your hands. The dough goes right on top of the crust. Then add the candy bar, graham cracker and marshmallows on top.
5. Bake. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until lightly browned. Oven temps will vary. Test with a tooth pick. The dough should be soft in the center.
6. Let cool, then enjoy! Allow s’mores bars to cool and then enjoy with a scoop of ice cream or cold glass of milk!

Our Secret Baby Moon at The Hamilton Princess Bermuda
Hey everyone, today I’m sharing my Hamilton Princess travel review with you from my recent trip to Bermuda with Blake. This was actually my third trip to Bermuda and second stay at the Hamilton Princess. My first trip to Bermuda was by a cruise boat and I thought it was the most beautiful place I had ever seen so I told myself I would return. So I did again last year and it was such an amazing trip that I knew I needed to bring my husband back with me. Since I enjoyed my stay at the Princess so much, I booked an end-of-summer vacation with my husband.

Little did we know that we’d be bringing along the newest member of our family too. A couple days before we left I found out that I was pregnant so we sort of treated the trip like a secret little baby moon. I was only only five weeks at the time so I wasn’t experiencing any symptoms yet, which made the trip very enjoyable and one we’ll never forget.
I don’t know if being newly pregnant made me more aware of other pregnant women, but it seemed like Bermuda was the place to be when you’re expecting! Totally makes sense though because not only is the island super safe, but the Hamilton Princess offers so many luxurious amenities and delicious restaurants to enjoy.
Oh and the travel time isn’t bad either. We flew one hour to Atlanta from Louisiana and then 2.5 hours to Bermuda. We stayed on the bay right in the heart of town, but we still had access to the Princess Beach Club, which we visited almost everyday. We had so much fun kayaking and paddle boarding in the crystal clear water at the beach club. Not to mention the relaxing on the over-water-hammocks! They also serve lunch and snacks and host fancy BBQs on Thursday and Saturday nights. Dinner by the water with my feet in the sand the Beach Club was probably my favorite part this time around.

When it comes to views on the property, we had gorgeous view of the hotel and marina from our balcony and the The Boat Dock at Hamilton Princess is the perfect place to watch the sunset before heading to dinner at Marcus. By the way, you must order the cauliflower appetizer! It’s to die for! The Chicken & Waffles is also super delicious too.

If you venture away from the resort, be sure to visit Jobson’s Cove. This was the first beach I visited when I arrived in Bermuda years ago and it’s the most breathtaking beach I’ve ever seen with magical pink sand and the most beautiful shade of turquoise water. The best time to go is at sunset or for an early morning swim in the lagoon. We made sure to go in the morning and at sunset on different days so Blake could experience both.

The Western Bootie Trend + High Rise Jeans
Hey everyone, I hope you all had a nice weekend. We’ve still been dealing with warm weather over here in Louisiana, but word is that a cool front is coming through next so I can finally wear these Everlane jeans and boots farther than just my front door step. Speaking of these jeans, they’re such a great fit because not only do I love high waisted jeans, but Everlane also offers them in an ankle length, which is perfect for my petite frame. These exact high rise skinny jeans also come in two other colors and range from sizes 23-35. Plus they’re super stretchy and designed specifically for hourglass shapes.
For size reference, I would go true to size in these jeans, but since I’m 5 ft, I still hemmed them a bit even though they were already ankle. I love paring them with these ivory western booties, which also come in black and russet suede available at Everlane.
