As for this outfit, I decided to give this simple navy tank a twist of style and paired it with my white asymmetrical skort from Zara and my mint python minaudiere from C. Wonder. Speaking of C. Wonder, how fabulous is this mint python handbag!! I love how it pulls the whole look together and complements the white and navy so perfectly. For shoes and accessories, I wore my nude ankle strap heels to really lengthen my legs and my C. Wonder initial necklace with plenty of arm candy. I think this look is so effortlessly chic and goes to show how easy it is to take a simple tank up a notch. What are your thoughts on this look?

Good Morning readers, how fabulous are these floral shorts from Candy Apple! They’re so fun and flirty for the summer especially with the ruffle detail on the sides.
For this look, I paired the shorts with a graphic designer tee to maintain the playful quirky look of the floral bottoms. Then I added the colorful statement necklace and mint studded clutch to pull out some of the colors in the pattern of the shorts. Lastly, I added plenty of wrist candy and actually tried two different options for shoes. First, I tried my mint Dee Keller wedges and then I tried my nude ankle strap heels. The mint wedges definitely maintained the fun and colorful vibe of the outfit, but I think I preferred the toned-down look of the nude ankle strap heels. What do you think?

Good Morning readers, I hope you all had a great weekend full of warm sunny weather. We sure had some hot sunny weather here in Louisiana. It’s finally starting to feel like summer around here so if you haven’t felt ready to break out your shorts, tanks and swim suits now is the time.
I plan on wearing this Haute Hippie Longhorn tank even more casually than how I styled it here, but this is how I might transition it from day to night. I just added some wedges and a white blazer to you how you can clean up your casual summer time look without actually having to change your whole outfit.

Good Morning readers and congratulations to all of the 2013 graduates who will be receiving their diplomas this weekend including my younger sister who will be graduating from high school this Saturday! In honor of all the graduates, I felt it appropriate to put together an all white look that can be worn post ceremony. I think this all white outfit is the perfect after party look!
I bet you’re probably thinking that you’d never be interested in wearing a skort again, but how awesome is this white fold over skort from Zara! It’s so chic and fashion forward. I especially love how the asymmetrical hem in front adds a little modern touch to the old half skirt half shorts look.
For jewelry and accessories, I kept it simple and stuck with nude and classic silver pieces minus my white shark tooth and turquoise earrings by Give a Penny Designs. You know I always have to pop a color somewhere! Also, if you’re a fan of Elaine Turner, get excited for our upcoming collaboration and giveaway together.
