Good Morning readers and Happy Halloween!! I still have no clue what I’m dressing up as tonight, however I will be judging the Costume Contest at the L’auberge Mall-O-Ween Party tonight in Baton Rouge! You can win up $5,000 in cash if you make it in the top 3 finals! Crazy, I know!! Anyway back to my costume dilemma, I could possibly get away with dressing up as a school girl by wearing this plaid skater skirt….what do you think? I have a few other options in mind, but you know how last minute running around for costumes goes. As for this outfit, are you not in love with this plaid skater skirt by Show Me Your Mumu! Show Me Your Mumu October Collection

Good Morning readers, I hope you’re all having a great week so far. I’ve been super busy with some amazing collaborations coming soon to Haute Off The Rack so I apologize for my lack of posts lately. At least you know there are some fabulous ones to come though! Speaking of fabulous, I had the most amazing time yesterday shooting with Show Me Your Mumu during their stay in Louisiana on their three week road trip across the south. Samantha Blanchard of The Blonde Brew and I got to style some fun pieces from Show Me Your Mumu’s exclusive Road Trip Collection and shoot our looks with their photographer!
After shooting our looks all over downtown Baton Rouge, we headed for the Roux House to help set up for the next trunk show. It was so much fun hanging out with all of my favorite Mumu girls and on top of that I got pitch my #ShowMeYourMumuface giveaway idea to their fearless leader, Cammy Hebert. You’ll find out what that means soon enough!

Good Morning readers, I hope you all had a great weekend. I’m super excited for this week to start because tomorrow I have a photo shoot with Show Me Your Mumu, and then on Thursday I’m judging a Halloween Costume Contest at the L’auberge Mall-O-Ween Party in Baton Rouge. Also, I had mentioned that I was going to be co-hosting the grand opening of H&M on Halloween day, however opening day has been moved to Saturday, November 16th. I still hope to see everyone there, and I’ll make sure to keep filled in on all of the details!

Good Morning readers, in October we wear pink to promote breast cancer awareness. Breast cancer awareness month is an annual campaign to help promote awareness of the disease. The National Breast Cancer Foundation, INC says that 1 in 8 women will be be diagnosed with breast cancer in their lifetime, so this month I encourage you to wear pink as a reminder to yourself and to your loved ones to create a plan for early detection. Sporting pink is also a way to show your support for survivors and women who are currently fighting breast cancer.
