Good Morning readers, I hope you all had a great weekend. This adorable printed skirt by Show Me Your Mumu is probably my favorite piece from their limited-edition Road Trip collection, which is now available to shop online. Anyway, I love this skirt so much I decided that I would show you three different ways to wear it to help you see how this skirt could fit into your fall wardrobe.

The first two looks take you from day to night.  I know some of you might be thinking that it’s a little cold outside to be wearing a cropped top with a mini skirt in the fall, but those of you who live down here in the south know that we can definitely get away with wearing this outfit most days with the kind of weather we have. During the day, you can wear the skirt with a pair of casual fringe ankle booties and a cropped top with long layered necklaces, and if it’s chilly out you can always add a cool parka jacket. Then at night just throw on pair of heels, add a leather jacket and strut a fun statement necklace.

The third look is super casual and effortless plus I love the skater skirt and sweater combo trend this season. If it’s too cold to have bare legs, you can always wear a pair of black tights with this outfit. However, I would also go for tall black boots as well if you’re going to wear black tights to keep the outfit from looking too busy.

P.S. I can finally share my exciting news with you!

I have been selected along with another local blogger to help launch the Grand Opening of Tiffany & Co. in New Orleans this November & December! Some little blue boxes are already en route to Haute Off The Rack so stay tuned for more details!

Good Morning readers, who’s ready for the weekend! I am! Today, I’ve partnered up with Articles of Society Denim to bring you Five Days of Denim with four other bloggers. During the past week, each blogger chosen to join the campaign was asked to style the Mya Color Block Jean in Moto. You can check out all of the differnt ways that these jeans have been styled by visiting AOS’s Instagram at @ArticlesOfSociety or by visiting their Facebook page here–> Articles of Society

I wanted to go for a cozy fall feel with a hint of edge so I paired the jeans with a flowy fringe poncho and then added a kick of edge with a pair cutout booties by Nine West. I styled this look with the intentions of giving it a date night vibe. We actually shot this look at night downtown, but if you wanted to wear this outfit during the day, I would opt for a more causal pair of boots like a flat boot or moto style boot.

P.S. I promise that I will be announcing my exciting news very soon. I’m just waiting on a fews things to arrive 😉

Good Morning readers, I am so excited to announce that the New Orleans H&M will be the last location to recieve the Isabel Marant Pour H&M Collection!  I’m even more excited to announce that H&M has allowed me to view collection early to give you a little preview. They event sent me a limited-edition scarf from the collection to enjoy so I could get a feel for the beautifully made fabrics.  The photos above show my favorite pieces from the collaboration with the Parisian designer as well as one of my favorite celebrities, Freida Pinto wearing my absolute favorite jacket from the collection. These photos are from the H&M and Isabel Marant Party and Collection Presentation in Paris. Oh how I would have died to have been there!

The Collection will be available worldwide on Thursday, November 14 both online and in stores. The New Orleans location will not be open to the public until Saturday, November 16th, but not to worry because the collection will still be available and I will be there co-hosting a style event at the grand opening! You are just going to fall to the floor when you see the rest of the collection!

Isabel Marant has created an exclusive line for H&M that is both affordable and outright stunning. Her mix of effortless chic and boho elegance give you that genuine sense of French Allure, and in this case your high-end designer purchase won’t break the bank.

“I am flattered by this collaboration. H&M works with the best designers, and this invitation is an exciting honor. I aim at creating something real – something women want to wear in their everyday lives – with a certain carefree style. I think this is very Parisian: You dress up, but don’t pay too much attention to it, and you still look sexy. The collection is infused with this kind of easiness and attitude. Everything can be combined following one’s own instincts, and my take on fashion is all about personality,” says Isabel Marant.

“We are excited to have Isabel Marant as a guest designer at H&M. The way she mixes different elements in her collections, creating a style that is effortless and urban, makes her very contemporary. She has a fantastic eye for ethnic detail and the rare ability to create something that people really want to wear. We are sure H&M customers will be excited about this collection” says Margareta van den Bosch, Creative Advisor at H&M.

Good Morning readers, I hope you all had a great start to your week. Today’s look is pretty pale and simple, but it’s an easy everyday kind of outfit. Unfortunately, this Show Me Your Mumu cardigan is no longer available because it’s from last holiday season, but they have plenty of other great sweaters and cardigans to pair with flares, a simple tank and layered necklaces. As for handbags, I paired the look with two different clutches because I love how beautifully the burgundy complements the pale pink and brocade texture of the cardigan, but I also like the outfit with monogrammed bag to keep with the neutral theme. What are your thoughts?

On another note, I want to mention that last week I had the pleasure of meeting Lauren Graham of Tiger TV.  Lauren is an LSU junior who runs who her own fashion segment with LSU’s news station called Fashion Frenzy. I was so honored and excited when she asked to interview me about Haute Off The Rack for one of her shows. Take a look at the interview below or click (here) to watch.
