Good Morning readers, I hope you’re all enjoying your weekend. I’m so glad that we got a nice cool front over the weekend in Louisiana so we can actually enjoy the beautiful fall weather in our boots and scarves without sweating! I’m taking it easy this Sunday morning after a little photo shoot in New Orleans. I have a long week ahead of me full of holiday shoots, brand meetings, a live fashion segment with WBRZ News 2 featuring fall accessories, co-hositng the grand opening of H&M in Shreveport, LA and finally hosting a Gigi New York Trunk Show at Kiki Boutique in Baton Rouge, LA.
Make sure to tune in to my live segment with WBRZ News Channel 2 at 4 pm on Wednesday, November 12 to see this season’s “hautest” fall and winter accessories. Also, if you’re located in Shreveport, I would love if joined me for the H&M Grand Opening Party at Mall St. Vincent starting at noon on Thursday, November 13th. Krystal from A Pinch of Lovely and I will be running a few contests to give you all a chance to win some H&M clothing and accessories. Good Morning readers and Happy Friday! What exciting plans do you have going on this weekend? Mine is going to consist of mostly football since LSU is playing Alabama at home at the Saints also have a home game too. You all know I don’t really care about football, but my boyfriend does so I of course need to have something to wear! For the LSU game, I just plan on throwing something together last minute, but for the Saints game I’m going to wear my new tee by Blonde Design. I styled my tee with an oversized black and gold poncho cardigan, faux leather leggings and some over the knee boots. This look will surely keep looking cozy and stylish while tailgating for the game. These tees are currently available at Candy Apple in Metairie and Hattie Sparks in New Orleans, LA. P.S. I highly recommend this black and gold sweater poncho! It feels like you’re wearing giant comfy blanket and I just the love the detailed design. Trust me, you’ll wear it much more than just to a saints game!

Good Morning readers, I apologize for not posting the past two days! I was traveling back from New York on Monday and then yesterday I had the most awful sinus headache. Do any of you get those really excruciating headaches that last all day? What do you take for it that you feel works best? I would appreciate any kind of advice! Thanks!
Anyway, I’m sure you all remember the first time I wore this blush outfit a few weeks ago with the leopard clutch, statement jewelry and black pumps. This time I decided to switch things up and go for an all neutral look with the Jenn bucket bag in stone and nude booties. I also styled the two piece set with some sassy leopard pumps and a pop of color with the Madison Crossbody in wine. Which style do you like best? Good Afternoon readers and Happy Halloween! I just got to New York for the weekend to celebrate the launch of the Jenn bucket bag. I still can’t believe I actually have my own handbag collaboration with such a remarkable fine leather and handbag company! Designing my own bag with Gigi New York was just a mere fantasy of mine until I got to tour the Graphic Image factory in New York this past year with the owner, Tom Glazer. It was during that tour that things quickly started to fall into place. Tom’s passion and enthusiasm for the company inspired me to get creative while we were in the place where all of the magic happens, the design room! We (A Pinch of Lovely, Kaela Rodehorst Photography & myself) got the opportunity to view all of the bright-colored new leathers for spring and summer 2015 as well as potential new handbag styles. My excitement got me a little carried away and I started describing my dream Gigi handbag design. Much to my surprise, Tom immediately went for it and said, “Hey, let’s do it! We can do a handbag collaboration.” I just about died when I heard those words come out of his mouth, but that didn’t even compare to when I first laid eyes on the sample of what was going to be my very own handbag that would soon be available for everyone to buy. Gigi New York’s amazing team made the collaboration process a cinch for me. All I had to do was tell them exactly how I envisioned the bag and they got everything down right to the very last detail. I of course got to test everything out and make any necessary changes before it went into production. I am so grateful to Gigi New York for this incredible experience. It has been the opportunity of a lifetime and something I’ll never forget.
