Good Morning readers, I hope you all had a wonderful past week and weekend.  I apologize for my lack of posts last week, but I’ve been super busy with work, event planning and on top of that I’m also in the process of moving.  I’ve got some super exciting posts planned for August and September though including collaborations with ASOS, H&M and Gigi New York’s Fall Collection.  I even have a fashion segment scheduled with WBRZ on August 2nd so stay tuned!

About this outfit:  My favorite part about this Amanda Uprichard dress is hands down the color.  It’s such a stunning shade of pink, hence why  I it referred to it as “traffic-stopping pink.”  As for the style of the dress, I was initially hesitant to try it on because I normally never wear drop waist dresses. I have a very petite frame (I’m only 5 ft) so I tend to stay away from long waisted tops and dresses.   However, I was pleasantly surprised with the fit of the dress.  I ended up loving the style and am now less hesitant to give those types of dresses a go.

Fashion Week in a New York Minute!

Good Morning readers, I hope you all had a great start to your week yesterday.  I’m slowly getting back into the swing of things since I just returned from New York to attend the Independent Fashion Bloggers Conference, Fashion Night Out in Soho, a portion of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week, an Amanda Uprichard photo shoot and interview, and meetings with tons of other bloggers.  Needless to say, I had a blast and can’t wait for round two in February!  Below are a few pictures that I took with Instagram throughout the trip.  You can follow me @Jennifarrr to view more and to stay updated with Haute Off The Rack!  Don’t worry though.  I’m investing in a new camera soon so that I can better capture the images that I’d like to show you.

Left: Blake: My sweet boyfriend who survived days of meeting with other fashion bloggers, Fashion Night Out, endless cab rides, shopping and of course listening to me go on and on about fashion and blogging!

Right: Meghan Price: One of my best friends who made the trip out to the city to visit me on Fashion Night Out!  Other than the fact that it took us over an hour to find her car at the end of the night, we had a fabulous time!  You may recognize Meghan from when I featured her (here) as a Haute Off The Rack Fashion Feature.

Make sure to read my two pages in Dig magazine tomorrow for details on the Fashion Week, the IFB conference, and Amanda Uprichard photo shoot and interview.  I will also repost the article this weekend for those of you who don’t live in the area.
