How to Master Lace Up Heels!
Just a show of hands, who feels intimated by caged and lace up heels? Hmm… just as I had suspected! Just by observing from my friends and online shoppers, I’ve noticed that most people find caged and lace up heels intriguing, but are hesitant to pull the trigger. Well, today I’m going to give that extra push you need to step out of your comfort zone and give the lace up heel a shot!

Hi everyone and Happy Humpday! We’re almost to the 4th of July weekend! Yayy!
Anyway, as I mentioned above I challenge you to try the lace up heel. I am 99.9% positive that you end up loving them! They give your feminine and ladylike outfits the edge they need without looking too over the top. I love the balance between a sweet floral romper like in today’s post and killer pair of lace up heels. I also love pairing lace up heels skinny jeans and a simple tee.
The trick to mastering the lace up heel is to find the right pair that flatters your legs. If you’re tall and lean with thin legs, then the sky is the limit for you my friends. However, if you’re petite with muscular calves and thighs like me, you’re going to want to test out a few pairs to make sure that they don’t cut you off and make you appear short and stout. That’s the worst!
I highly recommend the lace up heels from today’s post for all body types. With that being said, I dare you to pass on plain pumps and lace up your look! Try it out and tell me what you think! This is a great pair to try too–> Henlie Heel

What to Wear When It’s Haute: Part 4
Today I’ve got another ‘what to wear when it’s haute‘ outfit for you except this time I added on a layer of clothing. Don’t worry! I haven’t gone crazy! It’s just a light lace sleeveless layer from Chicwish! It’s so light that I sometimes I even forget I have it on. It just adds a little needed style to this simple grey dress from Mimosa Boutique.

Hi everyone, I hope you’re all staying cool in this heat! It’s getting pretty warm down here in Louisiana and to make matters worse, I am moving into a new house this week! Talk about the perfect to move! Not! Although, I shouldn’t be complaining too much because I’m not the one who has to carry the dressers, couch and bed down three flights of stairs! But hey! That’s what Blake gets for procrastinating and not calling the movers in time! So he gets to do it all by himself (insert crying/laughing emoji).
About the sleeveless cardigan: I am in love with the lace cardigan in today’s post. I barely even notice that it’s there when I’m wearing it and it pairs with almost anything! I wear it with casual rompers, dresses, cutoff shorts and I’ve even used it as swimsuit cover up too! I got this one from Chicwish and it’s only $42! I 100% recommend it!
Check out my last post on what to wear when it’s haute (here).
Thank you to Chicwish for bringing you this post. All opinions are my own.

Two Ways to Wear an Off The Shoulder Dress!
We’re almost to July and I’m still rocking two of my favorite trends for summer: fringe and off the shoulder! Today, I’m sharing two ways to wear this navy off the shoulder dress from Chicwish including a little fringe action and the best part– the dress is under $50!

Good Morning readers, I hope you all enjoyed your weekend and that this week goes by quickly so we can celebrate the 4th of July! Speaking of the 4th of July, this little off the shoulder dress from Chicwish would make a super cute Independence Day outfit! I also love it in the white version (here) and the chambray version (here) too!
As you can see in the photos above, I styled the dress for day time with a straw tote, ankle strap sandals and a floppy hat. For night time, I changed into wedges, lost the hat and swapped out the tote for a bright fringe clutch. How would you style this dress?

What to Wear When It’s Haute! Part 2
As promised, here is another easy breezy outfit to wear when it’s just too ‘haute’ outside featuring this MinkPink dress from Mimosa Boutique. I love the little keyhole detail in front and the bright and colorful print of this lightweight, flowy dress. The best part is that there is little styling involved! All it took to style this look was a floppy hat, a nude pair of heels and my Jenn Bucket Bag! You could easily dress the look down with a pair of flat sandals too.

Thank goodness I have stocked my summer wardrobe with lightweight dresses and rompers like this easy throw-on dress in today’s post.
