Good Morning readers, I know this outfit is a lot different from all of the festival style and swimwear I’ve been posting lately, but I’ve been dying to take these pants out for a spin. What do you think? Would you rock a pair of fancy palazzo pants with a statement cropped top instead of a dress to a spring soiree or even on a special date night? I double dare you to try it! I think you’ll be pleasantly surprised.

How to Wear Palazzo Pants: My advice when it comes to wearing silky palazzo pants like these is to pair them with a fitted top or a loose flowy tank like I did here –> Easy Breezy Boho-Chic | If you choose to wear a fitted top, it can long-sleeved or sleeveless. However, if you wear a flowy top, I suggest you at least show a little skin around your neck, shoulders or arms to keep the outfit from overwhelming you. The goal is to choose a top that complements the pants and flatters your body type. You’ll notice in my other palazzo pants post, I wore a loose tank with a bunch of layered necklaces and a hat for a cool boho vibe. In today’s post, I went for fancier vibe with the statement cropped top, mini satchel and Kendra Scott earrings, which goes to show that that are so many different ways to pull off palazzo pants. Just choose a style that works for you!

P.S. for all you petite ladies like myself, I recommend wearing some sky high heels for added length. It’ll make you you appear taller and leaner.

I love how her Mineral Velvet Creme has a lightweight feel, but still gives you maximum coverage. Plus it’s oil free, hypoallergenic and waterproof. Yes, you read that right! It’s waterproof! Hello Summer, right? It literally lasts the whole day until you take a makeup remover wipe to your face! Also, Ashley’s concealer adapts to every skin type and color. On top of the Velvet Creme, I also use her mineral pressed powder, Glow Under The Eye Brightener and her newly released Velvet Air Brush Set. Ashley’s brush set 100% lives up to it’s name. When used properly with the foundation and powder, her brushes gives you that coveted air brushed look.

I use Ashley Sievert Beauty products for all my photo shoots as well as date nights and special occasions for the extra coverage and also because it’s water proof so it literally lasts all day and all night long. It’s so nice to not have to worry about reapplying my foundation. During the daytime, I like to wear a tinted moisturizer or BB cream with loose mineral powder because I like to preserve my ASB makeup and save it for more special occaisions.

Good Morning readers, how about this flirty spring skirt! Today I’m featuring two of my favorite clothing and shoe brands from Herringstone’s Boutique to wear during the spring and summer. Show Me Your Mumu and Dolce Vita are my number one go-to brands as soon as spring rolls around each year because Dolce Vita always makes the cutest heeled sandals in neutral colors. Good Morning readers, we’ve officially made it to Spring! However, I realize that we can’t go immediatly from jeans, heavy sweaters and boots to mini skirts and cropped tops. It takes time before we’re ready to show off our bare legs and arms. This is what we call the transitional period! I know I’ve been parading around in swimwear and coverups for the past few weeks, but that’s because I wanted to show you what fun colors and prints you have to look forward to. Just because you aren’t ready to wear those pieces yet doesn’t mean you can purchase them right now and save them for later.

The perfect transitional style pieces to wear before you’re ready tackle bright colors and prints are: light wash denim, ankle boots, pastel or neutral colored sweaters, white denim, sneakers or slip-ons and light weight jackets or vests. The best way to start slowly incorporating hints of spring into your wardrobe is by wearing bright colored accessories and peep-toe booties or wedges.
