Good Morning readers, I am getting more and more excited for my shopping event and the fashion show at Saks in Canal Place this Saturday, September 27th. I’ll be there from 3-5 offering my styling and shopping advice, but the actual fashion show starts at 3:30 pm on the 2nd floor of Women’s Contemporary Clothing. Hey everyone, here is my second post of the day because I’m trying to fire out all of these New York Fashion Week posts before they become old news. These photos are from the rewardStyle Rooftop party at the Empire Hotel where all of the rS affiliated bloggers and brands celebrated fashion week together over cocktails and an amazing view of the Lincoln Center. The rewardStyle team never disappoints! The drinks were cool and refreshing thanks to Kendra Scott and the cake balls were on point at the Piperlime booth!
As for the clothing, I especially loved stopping to visit with the Ann Taylor girls since I was one of the 10 bloggers chosen to represent the brand at the party. However, they didn’t have to ask me twice if I wanted to wear Ann Taylor to the party after viewing their amazing new fall collection. Seriously though, if you haven’t checked out Ann Taylor’s most recent collection, I highly recommend that you head over there for chic trench vests, cozy sweaters and edgy moto-style jackets. Good Morning readers, today I’m kicking the Monday Blues in the gut with one of my looks from New York Fashion Week. I shot this dress on Day 4 of New York Fashion Week and have been wanting to put it back on ever since! There is so much I could point out about this dress from the “Kendall Jenner” slits and open sides to the electric blue color and flattering empire waist. However, I’m going to let you do the talking. What are your thoughts on this blue AQ/AQ dress and how would you have styled it? I decked mine out with Loren Hope jewels and a simple pair of black pumps, but I want to know what you would have paired it with! The reason why I want to hear what you have to say is because this blue statement gown is so memorable that I think it needs to be styled in completely different way in order for me to wear it again. I can’t wait to hear your ideas!

Good Morning readers and Happy Casual Friday! Today, I’m sharing my first NFL Fan Style look with you featuring the Gametime Gal tee from NFL Shop. I think the name of the shirt fits the style and design perfectly. The style of the tee reminds me of the kind of girl who knows all about football. She jumps up with the guys when their team scores a touchdown and throws her hands up at the ref when he makes a lame call. She’s that cool “guy’s girl” who stays later at the bar for a few more beers to celebrate the victory or mourn the loss while actually understanding what happened at the end of the game. Even though she is a guy’s girl, she still turns heads as she passes through the bar while guys admire her cool confident look and girls envy her perfectly messy fishtail braid from the night before.
She’s basically the girl I’ll never be because I know nothing about football even though I cheered half of my life. I’m always late in jumping up when our team scores becuase I’m usually more interested in the cheese fries sitting on the table at the bar rather than paying attention to the score. It’s pretty bad… so bad that once my boyfriend made me memorize 10 Saints players and their numbers and I had to name at least five of them before he let me come to the game with him! So just for today in this tee, I’m her, the Gametime Gal, the girl who can hang with the guys. Haha! Well, except for the fishtail braid from the night before because I actually got that done right before I took these photos!
