Good Morning readers, this is another one of my transitional outfits that I have on repeat. I’m embarrassed to even tell you how many times I’ve worn this grey jean and plaid shirt combo.  I can’t help it! It’s all I want to wear these days!  I’m so glad that plaid shirts have made it another year because they are perfect to wear during the early fall phase when it’s too hot for sweaters. Also, they’re super cute to layer beneath sweaters once it does get cooler.

As for the booties, I’ve got three words for you…. YOU NEED THEM! End of story!

Good Morning readers, I hope you all had a wonderful weekend. I’m so happy that we finally got to enjoy some cooler weather over here in Louisiana! I’m sure it’ll be gone by lunch, but it was nice while it lasted, right! Anyway, if you follow along regularly with Haute Off The Rack, you probably noticed that I gave my sunroom little fall makeover for a cozier more wintery vibe. All I did was change up the pillows and the pouf and then I added a navy throw from West Elm for the finishing touch.  See what my sunroom used to look like in the photo below or view the entire post here–> The Best Seat in The House

About the outfit: When this beautiful blush skirt first arrived from Sincerely Luxe boutique I had no idea how to wear it. I’m not sure if you can tell in the photos, but the skirt’s material looks and feels like a cashmere blend. It took me a few games of dress up until I finally put together the perfect pair. I chose a fuzzy sweater to go with the cozy theme of the skirt and a pair of studded pumps to maintain the sophisticated look of the skirt. After all, it is a pencil skirt!  The navy handbag was a no-brainer since navy pairs so beautifully with blush and the Kendra Scott Phara Necklace tied the whole outfit together.  What are your thoughts? How would you style this skirt?

Good Afternoon readers and Happy Sunday!  I hope you’re all having a nice weekend. Today, I’m finally sharing the last of my New York Fashion Week photos with you. I thought I’d save the best for last! For me, one of the best parts about blogging and attending NYFW is all of the new friends I have made in the fashion world from Charlotte, North Carolina and New York, New York to Newport Beach, California and Austin, Texas. The list goes on! I’ve met so many amazing girls who I’m lucky enough to now call my friends. I love being able to share some of the biggest moments of my life (fashion blogging life that is) with these sweet and talented women. We had the best time in New York and I can’t wait to be back in the city at the end of the month for a special surprise announcement! I’m so excited to tell you!!!

The photos above are from the Kendra Scott showroom in New York where we got to view the entire Spring 15′ collection and the photos below are from our visit with Elaine Turner herself in front of the the Lincoln Center followed by her NYFW Event at her store on Madison.

Hello readers, I hope you’re all having a great week so far. Sorry I’ve been a little MIA the past few days!  Things have been super crazy over here, but in a good way. I can’t believe that it’s already October! September was like a whirlwind for me with New York Fashion Week, my birthday trip to the beach and then my shopping event and fashion show with Saks in New Orleans.  On top of that, the Kendra Scott store on Perkins Rowe in Baton Rouge hosted a grand opening party to welcome Kendra Scott, herself to Louisiana. I was lucky enough to sit and talk with her during the party. She is such an amazingly talented woman and even more so humble.  I am not exaggerating when I say that Kendra made sure to visit with every single person that walked through the door as if she was so excited to have each individual person there.  I found her kindness and enthusiasm so refreshing. Just like her jewelry, Kendra Scott is truly beautiful in every way!

Also, I have to mention that I am so proud of my friends Ashley Sievert and Courtney Johnson who had the honor of styling Kendra’s hair and makeup for the party. Remember when they gave me a summer makeover here–> Haute Summer Makeover Part I & Haute Summer Makeover Part II   We of course can’t forget to mention my photographer, Kaela Rodehorst Willams was chosen to shoot the Kendra Scott event! I’m sure we can agree that all three of these talented ladies did an amazing job! Last but not least, congrats to the Baton Rouge Kendra Scott Event Coordinator, Abby Joyce on throwing a fantastic party! I enjoyed everything from the delicious treats and refreshing cocktails to the fun photo booth and Mardi Gras decorations.

P.S. Thank you to all of my readers who came and introduced yourselves to me at both the Kendra Scott and Saks event.  You have no idea how much I appreciate your readership and support.
