Hi everyone, I can’t believe we’re officially a week out from Christmas! To celebrate, I’ve partnered with Nordstrom to share some Christmas Day outfit ideas starting with this burgundy coat and Burberry scarf. This outfit has the perfect amount of color to give you a fun and festive vibe with just the right amount of neutrals to keep you looking chic. I love how beautiful the camel color of the scarf looks against the wine-colored coat and my rose gold jewelry pairs perfectly with burgundy too.

Stylish Winter Outerwear

Hi everyone, I’ve been saving some of my stylish outerwear looks from New York for extra chilly days like today when you realize that you need more than a light jacket here in Louisiana. This is actually a fairly lightweight trench coat, but I’m wearing a super chunky cable knit sweater beneath it. It’s the perfect balance for me because I’m super petite and don’t like feeling short and stocky in bulky outerwear. To avoid looking like a little a like winter Oompa Loompa, I balance out my layers with warm and cozy to lightweight and breathable. That’s another thing! I can’t stand feeling overly warm to the point where I want rip everything off so I like to make sure that some of my layers include breathable fabric.
