I’m ashamed, yet not ashamed at the same time to tell you how many times I’ve worn a striped dress over the past month. I’m ashamed because it has been too many times to count, but I’m not ashamed because it’s easy, casual and comfortable and not mention perfect for the non-existant fall weather. Today reached 84 degrees in Louisiana so I am grateful for easy dresses like this one that I can pair with fall boots and lightweight cardigans for effortless transitional looks.

Hi everyone, sorry for the late night post, but I’ve come down with a cold so I’ve been glued to my couch these past couple of days.
About the jewelry: I’m so obsessed with these new pieces that I just got from local New Orleans designer, Ashley Porter of Porter Lyons. Her designs are abosutlely stunning and I especially love the three pieces that I’m wearing in today’s post: the Backbone Cuff, the Scattered Crystal Ring & the Hammer Cuff ! I know it’s early, but it wouldn’t hurt to start adding some of these pieces to your Christmas wish list.
