How To Master The Athleisure Trend

For my second post of the day, I’m talking about how to master the athleisure trend. If you’re one to dress in your activewear even when you don’t plan to hit the gym that day, then I’m sure you’re loving the new trend as am I!  Sometimes I’ll even shower after working out and put on new activewear clothing to wear for the rest of the day because hey, it’s comfy! Plus it’s easy and functional especially for someone who works from home. Scroll down to see how to seamlessly pull off the trend.

The key to mastering the athleisure trend is chic accessories and a cool pair of sneakers. A really edgy yoga pant style doesn’t hurt either! If I’m heading out to run errands after the gym or if I just straight up want to wear fitness clothing that day then I like to my pair outfit with my black Nike running shoes and a nice handbag like my Chloe Marcie Satchel.  I like how the chic handbag offsets the casual vibe of the sneakers for an unexpected twist to the everyday activewear outfit. If you don’t own a big handbag, not to worry because a simple cross body like my Rebecca Minkoff Mini Suki looks just as cute!

As for the actual outfit, I say anything goes as long as you add a jacket, vest or even a scarf. In this case I’m wearing jeans, but this outfit would have looked equally as chic with yoga pants. It’s really the accessories that pull the whole look together. I also added jewelry to help dress up my look, but jewelry definitely isn’t necessary to pull off the athlesuire trend!
