Good Morning readers, I hope you all had a great Valentine’s Day and that you found my fashion segment helpful when it came to getting dressed yesterday. In case you missed it, you watch the segment here –> Fashion Blogger discusses Valentine’s Day looks.
Now about my outfit, as you could imagine choosing an outfit for my first ever fashion segment was no easy task. In fact, I didn’t even fully decide on an outfit until the night before my segment. I originally planned to wear my Prabal Gurung for Target sleeveless blouse tucked into a black pencil skirt with these neon ankle strap heels. However, after Abbey of District Dress Up pointed out a few possible fashion faux pas, I decided that I needed to go for another look. I chose to wear a bright solid-colored blouse with sleeves instead of a my busy printed sleeveless blouse so that my outfit wouldn’t be too distracting while I spoke on camera. For bottoms, I wore my J. Crew Minnie Stretch twill pants over a skirt because I didn’t want to wear anything that would ride up my legs while I was sitting during the segment. Then for a fun twist, I added a skinny leopard print belt and a my Prabal Gurgung neon ankle-strap pumps. I also made to sure to wear plenty of arm candy for some added flair.
P.S. Make sure to enter the two giveaways from yesterday’s post to win one of these necklaces or both! Details here–> Valentine’s Day Giveaways
Have a wonderful weekend!
