World Market Rug Haul

Hi everyone, today I’m sharing my World Market rug haul! In case you missed my office closet tour, I used quite a few home decor accessories and furniture from World Market to decorate my office with including all three of my rugs pictured in this post. I purchased the Ivory Moroccan Style Wedding Blanket Wool Area Rug to place beneath my white desk, which is also from World Market and I got the sheepskin area rugs to drape over my white molded chairs. I love how the sheepskin rugs give my modern chairs a hint of glam and they also pair perfectly with all of the gold accents in the room. Speaking of gold accents, I actually spray painted the chairs legs gold to keep with the luxe theme. See more rugs that I love from World Market below!

Favorite Weekly Lunch Spots: Zoës Kitchen

Hi everyone, today I’ve partnered with Zoës Kitchen to share one of my favorite weekly lunch spots that I can always count on for quick and healthy meals. Blake and I dine there or take out at least once a week to fill our cravings for fresh Mediterranean food. We love to sit outside for lunch and snack on their hummus and freshly baked pita bread and if we’re feeling super motivated, we even substitute sliced cucumbers instead of the pita. I always order the Orzo ‘Tabouli’ Salad and add shrimp kabobs and Blake gets the steak kabobs served over grilled potatoes and roasted vegetables. I also like the shrimp kabobs over the Quinoa Salad and during the summer, the Chicken Salad & Fruit Plate really hits the spot! Oh and I can’t forget to mention their giant chocolate chunk cookies! They’re perfect for sharing…or not! Is your mouth watering yet? Slingback Mules

Good Morning everyone, today I’m sharing how I styled these gold, grommet slingback mules from Head Over Heels in New Orleans. We all know how huge the mule trend is this season from flat styles, printed pairs, pointed, high-heeled and slingback ones like in the photos below. Basically, there is a special mule designed to fit everyone’s individual needs and tastes in shoes. I personally love heeled mules since I’m so petite, and these slingback mules with gold grommets are no exception. I found them at Head Over Heels on Magazine St. in New Orleans. They have the cutest spring shoes and accessories right now so I listed all of their information at the bottom of the blog post so you can track down these exact mules for yourself or find another pair you love.

For today’s look, I styled my slingback mules with a simple olive dress and my Jenni Saddle Bag, but they look super cute with cropped white jeans or distressed denim. I haven’t tried them on with shorts yet, but I bet they look just a great with shorts and a fun statement top too!
