Should we say “Damsel in Dior” or “Damsel in Distress?”

Good Morning readers and congratulations to Jennifer Lawrence on winning best actress and in my book, best-dressed as well. Even though she fell on her way to the stage, her look totally worked. I thought she looked ravishing and the fall added an even more dramatic appeal. Jennifer Lawrence looked simply stunning in her Haute Couture Dior dress with her embellished Roger Vivier clutch. I loved everything about her look from her slightly pink lip and elegant up-do to the texture and detail of her dress. Jennifer Lawrence, you win! Hands down!

Fashion Feature: Juley Thuy of Upperlyne

Juley Thuy earned a BA in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from Loyola University New Orleans in 2008. Following graduation she joined Teach for America where she helped found a school in the Upper Ninth Ward and taught for two years. Juley turned to blogging as her creative outlet during her free time. In four short years, she’s accumulated a solid fan base who relates to her authentic voice and reasonable lifestyle. Juley is currently working full-time as a software analyst. After her workday, she focuses on maintaining her blog and running MCRN Bar, her subscriptions-based macaron company. She enjoys running, yoga, experimenting in her kitchen, and exploring her cities. Juley now resides in downtown Nashville with her adorable puppy.
