Good Morning readers and welcome to Day 10 of Haute Off The Rack’s Island Getaway. I apologize for my lack of posts these past few days, but I’ve been so busy with my best friend’s engagement party that I hosted at my house over the weekend. However, everything is back on schedule now and I’ve got some great posts for you this week starting with this show-stopping emerald green maxi skirt by Show Me Your Mumu! Not only is this skirt absolutely stunning, but it’s wrinkle free!! What!! I know!!! You can ball it up in your bag an take it with you anywhere. Mumu even recommends it! Perfect for packing on summer getaways. Right!?

Good morning readers and welcome to Day 9 of Haute Off The Rack’s Island Getaway. Krystal of A Pinch of Lovely and Sarah of Think Twice Style and I have bravely volunteered to bring you some of this season’s “hautest” swimwear trends starting with the classic black + white + gold look. I usually can’t wear black during the summer without a pop of color somewhere so I used my my colorful Tart wrap as a bathing suit cover up. As for my bathing suit, I wouldn’t recommend laying out in a monokini considering how your tan lines would turn out but it’s still a great piece to have when you’re feeling a little self-conscious about wearing a bathing suit in front of people. The monokini is basically just a more fun and flirty one-piece with cutouts so if you’ve been wanting to try something new or if you’re not quite ready for a bikini but want to ditch the one-peice, I highly recommend the monokini!

Good Morning readers and welcome to Day 8 of Haute Off The Rack’s Island Getaway! How gorgeous is this embellished cotton maxi dress! I love every part of it from the embroidered green and orange detail to the light and flowy material. I’m sure you already know that I’m going to tell you that a maxi dress is a summer getaway must-have. It really is though! Maxi dresses always look so effortlessly chic on the beach and are super easy to transition from day to night! During the day you can wear it with a oversized floppy hat, some flip flops and a beach bag. Then at night all you need to do is throw on some wedges, add a pair of earrings and carry a fancy clutch.
Packing tips: Unless your maxi dress is a jersey or polyester material, don’t forget to hang it in a garment bag with your other delicate pieces to prevent harsh wrinkles.

Good Morning readers and welcome to Day 7 of Haute Off The Rack’s Island Getaway. If you saw my summer vacation fashion segment on WBRZ news then you probably recognize this outfit, but I never got a chance to tell you about it. First of all, if you don’t have a BCBG bandage skirt, you need to get on that. They come in a fabulous selection of colors and there are so many ways to style them. Plus they smooth everything out and leave with you with just the amount of curves. Secondly, I’m so glad that I decided to add this Alice and Trixie halter to my summer wardrobe because the neutral colors pair so easily with all of the bright clothing and accessories that I already have in my closet. Plus it also looks great with an all white look or just a classic pair of flared denim jeans.
Packing Tips: Make sure to pack a neutral-colored top that you can throw on with any bottom in your suitcase and dress up or down with your jewelry and accessories in the case that you need an extra outfit during your vacation.
