Happy Sunday everyone! These photos are from the Dee Keller Spring Preview Brunch during New York Fashion Week. I had a wonderful time visiting with Dee and bloggers from all over! This event was one of my most favorite memories during fashion week because I got to meet so many new bloggers while enjoying mimosas, brunch and new spring styles. It doesn’t get much better than that! Plus Dee Keller and I go way back to when I first started my blog! If it weren’t for her, I never would have met her daughter, Brighton who designed and custom coded my blog! That was two years ago now! I’m so grateful for the both of them!

Good Morning readers, I’m so glad that I finally get to share some of my New York Fashion Week looks with you. I wore this pastel pleated midi skirt and cropped top to the Dee Keller Spring Preview Brunch. Don’t worry, we were inside the whole time. Well, except for this part right here!
Some of you might be wondering what the heck I was doing in a cropped top in the dead of winter in New York, and trust me while I was shooting this look I was wondering the same thing! I was freezing my butt off during this shoot in 10 degree weather with snow flurries in my face, but I wanted to shoot this look because I knew it wouldn’t be long before my readers in Louisiana could start wearing wear this type of clothing. Spring comes a lot sooner down south! So I wanted to be prepared. Now with my luck it’s raining and 54 degrees today, but I swear it was hot the other day and we’ll be in shorts and flip flops before you know it! However, all you Louisiana girls better appreciate this post because I did this for you! I love y’all so much I went cropped in the dead of winter for you! Just kidding…but really though!
