Good Morning readers, as promised here is more Fourth of July outfit inspiration for you! This beautiful blue and white embroidered top from Posh Boutique is so light and airy, which is perfect for this Louisiana heat! I paired the top with some denim cutoffs to keep cool and a pair of heeled slingback booties to keep the flowy top from looking frumpy on me. I’m only 5′ ft tall so just that little bit of height really helps out when it comes to wearing oversized tops. For jewelry, I styled the outfit with dainty necklaces from my collection with Mary P Lamb Designs and some beaded bracelets by Virtue Jewelry to maintain the easy boho vibe. Good Morning readers, who’s ready for a three-day weekend?! I know I am! Just give me one of these giant pool floats and I’m good to go! Remember the giant donut float from our first beach post–> What’s Haute Now: The Snowball & Donut Diet Well, we thought that donut was the best thing ever until we tried out this inflatable swan! I swear it can fit like four people on it! I’d say that this inflatable swan is all you need for a fun July Fourth weekend! Even though it’s scorching hot outside this time of year in Louisiana, the fourth of July is still one of my favorite holidays! I just love laying out by the water and barbecuing with friends and family. What fun events do you have planned for the Fourth?

Hey Readers, I hope you all had a fun weekend! My weekend could have lasted a little longer, but hey at least we have the Fourth of July to look forward to!
After reading through your comments on social media and Friday’s blog post, The Art of Layering Jewelry, I was surprised to see that you all voted less is more! Everyone seems to love the simplicity of these layered Gorjana necklaces most! As promised, here are my tips on layering necklaces.
Laws of Layering:
1. Pick a theme (Do you want boho, chunky, feminine, chic, minimal, simple, elegant?)
3. Choose a statement piece to or one with a larger stone or pendant than the rest.
2. Don’t be afraid to mix it up! Try a bunch of different types of necklaces for a cool eclectic read.
3. Keep your layers consistent. Don’t leave too much space in between your first and second necklaces.
