Good Morning readers and Happy Friday! I’m so excited to tell you have I have teamed up with Nasty Gal to bring you a New Orleans City Guide and two holiday style party looks for a night out on the town with your friends. For my first look, I paired a simple white cropped top with some pleated shorts and finished the look a snazzy sequin blazer for some “uptown funk.” Speaking of “Uptown Funk,” in case you haven’t heard my new favorite song by Bruno Mars, you can jam out to it here–> Uptown Funk

For those of you who like a pop of color, I showed the outfit styled with the Madison Crossbody in wine. I also paired the party look with my black Jenn Bucket Bag designed by yours truly to show you that it works great as a going out bag too. Good Morning readers, I apologize for my lack of blog posts lately. These past few days have been a whirlwind for me with photo shoot and filming of our “stylecation” in New Orleans, which I can’t wait to share with you. Anyway, I’m finally home and back to working on holiday style and gift guides. Today, I’ve partnered up with Ann Taylor to show you some of my favorite pieces from their winter collection. Ann Taylor has always been a go-to store for me when it comes to moderately priced sweaters, feminine accessories and classic skirts and dresses. This season I’m all about pairing the chunky cable knit sweater with flippy skirts and ankle boots. I also like to finish off the look with a cocoon style coat like this beautiful burgundy one shown above. How gorgeous is that color! As for the sweater I’m wearing, I’m highly considering purchasing it in the other three colors as well because it is the perfect style to wear with both fitted and flounce skirts as well as skinny jeans and leggings. Trust me, that doesn’t happen often! I usually have to buy four different styles/fits of sweaters to go with all of my different bottoms, but this one shown above works with everything! Not to mention that it is super warm and cozy!
