How to decorate your home for fall: Fall isn’t just about dressing yourself in cozy sweaters and fuzzy socks, your home needs some warm and cozy love too! Every fall before the holidays begin, I like to swap out all of my bright and colorful pillows and throws for faux fur and metallic accents. As you can see from the before photo and the photo below, I just removed all of the colorful pillows and replaced them with faux fur and neutrals. I also swapped out the throw to better complement the new pillows.

On top of changing up the pillows, I finally hung wall decor above my couch. Not only did these new canvases brighten up the room, but they also added a much needed personal touch to my living room. To me, personal photos always make a room feel that much happier and cozier. I especially love the fact that Kaela (my photographer & friend) took all of these photos. She even shot the large NYC Times Square photo through a raindrop-covered taxi window when we were in New York together a couple of years ago for fashion week.

I am still undecided on what kind of coffee table I want put in the living room so I’ve just been using my Gold Morccaan Pouf with this Gold Mirrored TableTop Tray in place of one.

I added a white pumpkin with some decorative golden acorns and pinecones to the side table by my front door for a hint of fall. The new golden holiday decor complements my other decorative objects like the metallic starburst perfectly.

In case you didn’t already know, I celebrate national coffee day every day because I am coffee obsessed. Hence, why I felt the need to dedicate a 3-tier rolling bar cart to my coffee mugs and fancy gold glasses.  I found this adorable gold cart at World Market along the gold stemless wine glasses.
