I designed a sleek black midi dress and a boho chic duster to pair together.  I of course had all my #hauteofftherack girls in mind when I designed these two pieces because I wanted you all to genuinely love wearing them. This black mock neck midi dress is chic, versatile and sophisticated. Plus it can be styled multiple different ways as you can see from today’s post. The body of the dress fits like glove, and yet it still feels like you’re wearing your favorite comfy t-shirt at the same time.  Even highlights all your curves in the best way and comes in an amazing size range of XXS to XL! My favorite feature of the dress is the slit on the side to show a little leg. Also, there is the a zipper at the nape of the neck so you don’t mess up your hair and makeup when you pull it over your head.

If you’re hesitant to rock a bodycon dress alone, then you’re going to love my boho chic gold duster to wear over the dress for a fitted and flowy look. Just the like cozy duster that I designed, the the glam duster comes with a removable waist tie that you can loosely tie in the back to cinch in your waist and adjust the fit to your liking!

MY SIZING AND HEIGHT FOR REFERENCE:

Most people don’t realize how petite I am so and I understand that knowing my sizes can help you determine what size to get.

Post pregnancy I am a size 27 in jeans & medium in high waisted bottoms, size S in tops (36C), size S in dresses, Medium in sports bras, small in leggings and XS-S in outerwear
– I am 5′ ft

IMPORTANT SIZING NOTE** I hemmed my midi dress and gold duster 2.5 inches since we didn’t make these pieces in petite lengths. However, this is very normal me to do as I visit my seamstress regular to alter all of my clothing for the perfect fit.

Midi Dress Sizing: Also, I got a small in the dress and it fits fine, but I suggest sizing down because it’s very stretchy. I can even fit in the XXS. So if you’re pregnant, no need to size down. Just get your regular size because it is plenty stretchy enough to grow with you. I am wearing my Spanx OnCore High-Waisted Mid-Thigh Shorts underneath the dress for a smooth fit.

Gold Duster Sizing: I got the XS and and minus the fact that I got the length hemmed, it fits the perfect everywhere else. Please note that it is not as stretchy through the arms as the cozy duster. See more on the cozy duster here–>12 Ways to Style a Cozy Duster Cardigan

Here is a better look at the fit of the dress. Keep in mind that I’m only 5 ft so I hemmed the dress 2.5 inches. I’m wearing the size small here, but it’s so stretchy that I can also fit in the XS and even XXS.I am wearing my Spanx OnCore High-Waisted Mid-Thigh Shorts in a sz small underneath the dress for a smooth fit.

This midi dress is super stretchy (aka bump friendly & perfect for pregnant women)! Krystal is about 5 months pregnant wearing the medium above and she still has plenty of room to grow in it. No need to size up if you’re pregnant as it is super stretchy so I suggest taking your normal size.
