Holiday Beauty Gift Ideas For Her

Hi everyone, today I’ve partnered up with QVC to share some holiday beauty gift ideas for her. Most of these items come in sets so you can easily knock out multiple holiday gifts for friends and family with just a few purchases! I plan to split up all of the sets and make gift baskets for my friends with one of each item since I don’t have any stockings to fill for girls.

FIRST AID BEAUTY SET OF 4 ULTRA REPAIR CREAMS: Not only is the ultra repair cream listed as First Aid’s best-selling cream, but it also lives up to its expectation too! I don’t know about you, but my hands always get so dry in the winter and I can’t stand the feeling so I always keep some moisturizer cream on hand and this ultra repair cream definitely does the trick when it comes to longer lasting smoothness and extra hydration.

PHILOSOPHY HAPPY HOLIDAYS SHOWER GEL 6 PIECE COLLECTION: The coolest part about this Philosophy formula is that it can be used as a body wash, shampoo, or even a bubble bath! This six piece collection makes for perfect stocking stuffers or individual gifts for friends! I highly recommend buying this set and keeping all of the bottles on hand for unexpected guests and parties during the holidays. I always like keeping extra gifts on hand to make everyone feel special! I never like anyone to feel left out!

DENNIS BASSO FAUX FUR THROW: Nothing says cozy at home for the holidays like a warm faux fur throw in your living room! In fact, I actually keep multiple throws folded in a basket in my living room for guests and I put the pretty ones on display like this Dennis Basso reversible one. This throw is the perfect gift to give to your grandparents, mother or someone who appreciates home decor style!

JULEP CHARCOAL BODY KONJAC SPONGE: Julep took their best konjac sponge and made it large enough to use on your whole body! The sponge helps to gently exfoliate dead skin cells to reveal a soft, radiant, and glowing looking complexion. To use, just rinse under warm and massage in a circular motion to exfoliate dead skin cells. Don’t forget to rinse thoroughly and squeeze out all of the excess water after every use. Replacing every one to two months is recommended. All the more reason to put a few extras in each stocking or gift basket!

5 Tips On How To Create The Perfect Thanksgiving Table Setting

Hi everyone, I hope you all had a nice weekend. Today I’ve partnered up with World Market to share 5 Tips On How To Create The Perfect Thanksgiving Table Setting for your home! Thanksgiving is one of my absolute favorite holidays and that or may not be because it’s basically a day where you get to stuff your face in front of your family without judgement because everyone else is eating just as much. I’m only kidding…kinda. Anyway, here are some tips to help you create the perfect Thanksgiving table setting!

1) Choose a theme and color scheme! I chose a rustic-glam theme with a mix of metallics and wood. For my color scheme, I went for silver, gold, neutral and a colorful hint of print with the linens. 2) Pick a centerpiece or get creative and make your own! I used a wood bark pedestal stand, candles and metallic painted pumpkins to create my centerpiece. I highly suggest adding a table runner on top of your table cloth or bare table to help accentuate your centerpiece. Also, when it comes to long rectangle tables, I love extending the centerpiece all the way down on both sides so everyone gets a nice view of your masterpiece!

3) Count your silver! Make sure you have enough utensils for every seat as well as every course. I love this gold set of silverware from World Market. Oh and don’t forget to place them in their respectable spots, and I won’t judge you if you have to google proper table settings because I had google it too!

4) If you don’t have enough matching place settings, don’t be afraid to mix and match. Just make sure that you mix and match with more than one place setting so one feels like the odd one out. Also, name cards are a nice touch too because they make your guests feel wanted and welcome. Plus they’ll make your table setting look more uniform if you decide to go with a mix and match theme.

5) My last tip for hosting Thanksgiving at your home is stay calm and be thankful! I know that inviting your entire family and even friends can be stressful, but don’t forget to count your blessings!

BONUS  TIP! Display your Desserts! Don’t forget that desserts make great decor too! Arrange all of your your desserts and treats on a bar cart or small table for everyone to feast their eyes on. It will also help them to remember to save some extra room!

Outfit: Ripped Denim (also similar here) | Sleeveless Sweater (also similar here) | Moto Jacket in Oxblood c/o Express <–SALE Alert! Currently 30% OFF! | Ray-Ban Roundie Sunglasses | Sam Edelman Wedge Booties (also available here & here) | Jenni Saddle Bag (designed by Haute Off The Rack in collaboration with Gigi New York)

Jewelry: Pendant Necklace & Rings c/o Julie Vos

For size reference: I’m wearing a size small in the jacket and have plenty of room for a sweater or layers beneath. However, if I were only planning on wearing tanks and lightweight tops beneath, then I would have preferred the size XS!

Bootie Info: I’m obsessed with these wedge booties because I feel like they’re more sleek and flattering than most clunky wedge boots. Also, they’re super comfortable, but I recommend going a half size up. I normally wear a sz 6.5, but I went for size 7 in these!

P.S. I cut my jeans to give them this hi-low look!

Black Lace Jumpsuit

Happy Friday everyone, today I’m sharing a chic, holiday party look with Express featuring this stunning black lace jumpsuit! However, you don’t want to waste this gorgeous jumpsuit on just an holiday party, it’s meant for something special like your husband’s work Christmas party or maybe you’re planning on hosting your own holiday soirée this season. You could even save it for a fancy girls’ night out or who knows maybe buying this jumpsuit will inspire you to plan something fun if you don’t already have some place in mind to where it to. I plan on wearing this jumpsuit for Thanksgiving Eve. You might be wondering what exactly that is, but if you’re hometown is anything like mine, then every year on the night before Thanksgiving Day, you get dressed up and go out to local bars with all your friends knowing that you’ll practically see everyone you ever knew from high school. It’s basically like a giant high school reunion so you obviously want to look your best!

Not only is this jumpsuit uber chic, but it’s also great because it barely requires any styling! All you need is a simple pair of ankle strap heels or pumps and some statement earrings! If you’re not a jumpsuit girl, but you love this lace look, you’ll be happy to know that it also comes in this beautiful mock neck dress!
