Hey everyone, today I’m sharing how to wear wide leg pants for summer with Ann Taylor. When it comes to wide leg pants, waist lines are key especially if you’re petite like me. I like to pair mine with cropped tops or a shirt that will show off my wist line. If you want to go with a looser top, you can always add a belt. Don’t get me wrong, in some cases, loose flowy tops look great with wide leg pants, but that combo tends to swallow my petite frame so I like to stick with waist accentuating tops. As for shoes, a nude heel will always elongate your legs, but they also look great will mule slides and pointy toe booties in the fall.

If you’re hesitant but you want to slowly ease your way into the wide leg trend, I highly recommend going for a chic monochromatic look like I did in today’s blog post. It almost looks like a jumpsuit and gives off an effortlessly chic vibe.
For today’s look, I could have tucked in my sleeveless shirt and added a sleek brown belt, but since I didn’t have one, I decided to unbutton the bottom two buttons and tie the front to show off my waist. I styled my all white look with some flattering nude ankle strap heels and added a tiny pop of color with this skinny lemon scarf.
