14 Ways to Style an LBD

You know those mornings when you roll out of bed and have no idea what to wear to work, or those Friday nights when nothing in your closet seems to fit right? How about that statement necklace that you’ve been dying to wear, but it doesn’t match with anything in your closet? Those frustrating times don’t call for Plan B. They call for a clever little tactic I like to call Plan LBD, also known as “little black dress.”

Every woman should own a little black dress. They help avoid those unwanted “outfit meltdowns.” I bet most of you think that in the fashion world, LBD only stands for “little black dress.” But it also stands for “limit bad days.” A little black dress always does the trick. Not only are little black dresses classy and slimming, but they also go with everything in your closet. And to prove its versatility, I have come up with 14 ways to help limit bad days. Prepare to be amazed as I style this simple little black dress 14 ways.

1) Show your inner animal with some cheetah print pumps and tone them down with a neutral-colored blazer.

2) Pull out the colors in printed scarves with bright-colored shoes.

3) Accentuate your curves with a waist belt wrapped around your entire outfit.

4) Look fierce and glamorous in faux fur vest and knee high boots!

5) Break out that gorgeous statement necklace you’ve been dying to wear and accent it with some gold cap-toe pumps.

6) You’ll look feminine and sassy in hot pink blazer and nude pumps.

7)  Stay warm and cozy in a printed waterfall cardigan with knee-high boots and knit beret.

8) Look perfect and polished for work in minimal black and white.

9) Accessorize with vibrant-colored scarves and jewelry. Keep the rest of the outfit simple with black or taupe booties.

10)  Feel effortlessly cool and casual with a sleeveless open cardigan and peep-toe ankle boots.

11) Sparkle and shine at upcoming holiday parties with a sequin blazer.

12) Rock a leather jacket and strappy black heels for that cool biker chic look.

13 & 14)  Go for fun and casual with some leopard loafers and a boyfriend blazer or try a pair of gold snake loafers with a skinny waist belt.
