Male Fashion Feature: Troy Brouillette

Photos by: Carter Spade

Good Morning readers, I hope you enjoyed today’s Male Fashion Feature Post, and I hope you get a chance to see him the Mode Fashion Week fashion show this Saturday, June 2, 2012 at the Belle Casino Atrium in downtown Baton Rouge from 6pm-9pm.  I hear its gonna be an amazing show!  Anyway, yesterday was a great day because I had a few designers and boutiques email me about future collaborations with Haute Off The Rack.  Plus, I’m glad I was able to finally help Max out for once with a photo shoot for new all organic chapstick.  I’ll go more into detail about that later, but we had a lot of fun and I can’t wait to see how it all turns out!  Also, today I’m meeting with Director of Events for 225, InRegister and Business Report about the Avenue Rouge for Fall 2012.  I can’t wait to hear all of the details.  Have a great day!  Oh! By the way, I apologize for any grammatical errors in this post, but it is 4 a.m. and I am just wrapping it up so you’ll have to excuse me just for today.  However, I would love to hear your thoughts on my second Male Fashion Feature.  Remember my first Male Fashion Feature, J.R. Garret?

The Tourist

Photos by: Max Zoghbi

Outfit: BCBG Power Bandage skirt in Aqua (Thank you to Femme Fatale), Lace crochet tank (Urban Outfitters), Dolce Vita wedges (Thank you to Park Lane), Straw Fedora (here),  Aqua scarf old, similar (here),  Fringe handbag (Vertigo boutique)

Jewelry: Penny Suede lariat necklace (Thank you to Samanca), Monogram necklace (Love), Ivory beaded bracelet (Thank you to Femme Fatale),  Michael Kors watch old, similar (here), beaded wrap bracelet (here), Natural stone ring (Frock Candy)

Good Morning readers! Let me just start by saying that I adore this outfit!  I’ve worn this skirt and top in previous outfit posts (Jazz Fest & Aqua and Tangelo Orange), but this one is by far my favorite.  It’s just such a fun and casual outfit that you could wear out to lunch and shopping with the girls or on a day time date.  The scarf and fedora remind me of vacation because it’s too hot in Louisiana for summer scarves so I usually only wear them while traveling.  I posted a picture below of me wearing a scarf and fedora while visiting my family in California last summer.  I know I look like such a tourist, but I love it!!  In case you’re wondering, yes, that is my boyfriend!  We are both squinting our eyes in this picture because of how bright it was, but man, would I kill to be there right now!

By the way, I couldn’t decided what I liked better between the Samanca necklace and the aqua scarf.  That is why I photographed both.  Which one do you like better?

Below are images and information on the Virgin Saints and Angels jewelry line.

The Resurrection Collection pictured below contains Swarovski elements for a unique sparkle.  How gorgeous is that pendant with the crucifix, and  those dangling earrings would add such a dramatic effect to any ordinary outfit.

The pendants above are my favorite pieces by VSA because I can wear them with everything!  Below are pictures of how I’ve styled those necklaces in previous outfit posts.  Note: The first photo on the left is sneak peek of a future outfit post featuring VSA!

Good Morning readers!  I hope you all have fun activities planned for this holiday weekend, and that you’re able to fit some shopping time in with all the amazing Memorial Day sales going on right now.  You should most definitely make time to stop into Rodeo to pick up a pair of those adorable Amanda Uprichard silk printed shorts before they run out!   I just love those shorts paired with the silk blouses and Seychelles platform wedges pictured above.  It’s the perfect weekend outfit that can easily transition from day into night.  I wish I could have added some jewelry to Ava’s look, but like I said yesterday we were extremely limited to time that morning when we put everything together.
