Good morning readers, I know I speak for everyone affected by Hurricane Isaac when I say that it’s been a pretty miserable week. Fortunately, my home only lost power for a short while and didn’t undergo any damage. My deepest sympathy goes out to all those of you who lost your homes, and I will most definelty keep you all in my prayers.
On a lighter note, I thought I would cheer you up by informing you that I will be launching a sponsored giveaway on Monday with H-boutique featuring this hot pink dress as the giveaway item!! So get excited!! Also, to show how versatile this dress is, I will post two more ways of how to style this adorable dress! As for today’s post, I’m loving the contrast of edgy and feminine between the wedge, peep-toe booties and the hot pink lady-like dress. I think that the peep-toe, lace-up booties give this fun and flirty dress an unexpected twist. Once cooler weather sets in, I would rock a moto leather jacket to keep with the theme of this feminine, yet edgy look.
Have a wonderful weekend!

Outfit: Neon denim (Thank you to AG Jeans), Denim Shirt (Urban Outfitters), Platform Wedges (Steve Madden old, refer to widget above for similar pair), Leopard Iphone case (Tory Burch)
Good Morning readers, I hope all those of you affected by Hurricane Isaac made it through the storm alright. I’m so grateful that my best friend took me in these past few days since my house is surrounded by trees and was pretty much guaranteed to lose power. Thankfully, we haven’t lost our cable or power over yet and have only experienced minor damages. My heart goes out to those who lost their homes and irreplaceable belongings.
As for this outfit, I would have preferred a more taupe colored wedge or ankle boot instead this cognac platform wedge, but I didn’t have access to those shoes at the time of the shoot. So the ones I wore will just have to do! I put this outfit together to show how you can incorporate your neon denim into your pre-fall outfits before you stow them away with the rest of your spring and summer clothing. I wore a button down denim shirt to tone down the electric neon color of the AG jeans and also to simply the outfit for a more casual everyday look.
P.S. Just to keep you in the know, I still have quite a few more pairs of denim to feature from my collaboration with AG Jeans. Also, keep an out for my collaboration with Johnny Was and sponsored giveaway with Amanda Uprichard once we move closer into the Fall.

Good Morning readers, how fabulous are all of these menswear-inspired flats! If you read my Back-to-School Essentials article in Dig magazine then you know that these smoking slippers have transitioned from the runway into a Fall 2012 must-have! The menswear-inspired style adds a twist to the everyday ordinary flats for women. However, they’re equally versatile and pair well with mini skirts, shorts, casual denim and cropped pants. I can’t decide which design I like most. I love them all from the calf hair animal prints and snakeskin texture to the tassel details.
Did you see the menswear-inspired pumps that I wore in yesterday’s outfit post, A Hint of Print.
P.S. Here is a sneak peek of the sponsored giveaway with H-Boutique! You can win this adorable hot pink dress! Stay tuned to find out how!

Jewelry: Pyramid Double Wrap Bracelet & Renegade Cluster Bracelet (Thank you to our sweet Stella & Dot Rep), Gold and Horn Watch (Michael Kors old, but similar (here), Golden Sun Bracelet (Urban Outfitters)
Good Morning readers, I hope you all had a great weekend and got a chance to read my Back-to-School Essentials article in Dig magazine. In case you didn’t, I posted it on my blog Saturday for those of you who don’t have access to a copy.
Picture above is what I wore for the Stella and Dot party that I recently hosted, and since I was all dressed up, my friend Casey and I took it as an opportunity to snap a few photos of my outfit before everyone arrived. We didn’t have much time so we didn’t get as many shots as we would have liked, but these will have to do!
Just to keep you updated, Max’s business, Loupe Theory has really started to take off so he will no longer be available to shoot for Haute Off The Rack. However, I am thrilled to death for him and am so thankful for all his time, talent and hard work. Luckily, Casey has graciously accepted the job as the new Haute Off The Rack fashion photographer. Casey has impeccable tastes in clothing and accessories and a keen eye for photography so I have no doubt that she will do an amazing job.
About the outfit, I scooped up these printed ankle pants from Loft during their Friends and Family 40% OFF Event! Not only did I get them for a for a fantastic price, but they’re also the first pair of ankle pants that I haven’t had to take to the tailor, which was quite a pleasant surprise. I was also super excited because I knew it would look perfect with my sleek, leather peplum top and menswear-wear inspired pumps. Don’t you just love the tassel detail?
