Good Morning readers, thank God it’s Friday right? Also, thank you to everyone who came out to the event at Candy Apple boutique on Tuesday night. The event was a great success and we appreciate all of your business!
About this look: I spotted this faux fur jacket while we were preparing for the grand opening of H&M in New Orleans and I just knew I had to have it. I’m sure that most of you who live down south may be thinking, “Yea, that’s super cute, but when would I ever wear a fur jacket here in Louisiana?” Well, you’re right! Most people wouldn’t wear one down here in the south, but that is what makes it so special and gives it that ‘wow’ factor. It doesn’t have to reach below zero degrees for you to throw one on over a dress or wear it with a pair of leather leggings for a night out. It just makes you look all the more glamorous than you already are.
As for these boots, I’m sure you all know how obsessed I am with them by now! They’re just downright fabulous and if you haven’t tried a pair of over the knee boots yet this season, I highly recommend it. Strutting a pair of over the knee boots is another glamorous way to stand out in a crowd this season. They just look so sleek and stylish.

Tiffany & Co. Grand Opening in NOLA
Hello readers, I hope you all have been enjoying your Thanksgiving holiday and weekend. I just wanted to post little recap on the grand opening of Tiffany & Co. in New Orleans this past week. The new location in Canal Place is officially open, and the store is absolutely beautiful.

The Grand Opening brought in quite a crowd including the Tiffany & Co. Vice President, Diane Brown (photographed below).
Soo…funny story… I decided that while I had the perfect opportunity, I would give in to my desire to try on a Tiffany & Co. engagement ring. It was everything that I thought it would be, but that’s not the funny part. The funny part is that Fox 8 News just so happened to catch me in the act and the news anchor interviewed me right on the spot. There was no hiding the fact that I was clearly trying on wedding rings. I had no idea what to say considering that my boyfriend would just die if saw me on live TV trying on engagement rings. Good Morning readers, I hope you all had a great weekend. I’m super excited for this week to start because tomorrow I have a photo shoot with Show Me Your Mumu, and then on Thursday I’m judging a Halloween Costume Contest at the L’auberge Mall-O-Ween Party in Baton Rouge. Also, I had mentioned that I was going to be co-hosting the grand opening of H&M on Halloween day, however opening day has been moved to Saturday, November 16th. I still hope to see everyone there, and I’ll make sure to keep filled in on all of the details!
