Haute Off The Rack’s Highlights of 2014

Good Morning readers, I hope you had a wonderful weekend! I know it’s been since New Year’s Eve since I last posted, but I just needed a little time to get prepared for 2015! 2014 was one heck of a year! I feel so blessed to have experienced all of these incredible moments with you via my blog and social media. All of these amazing opportunities would not be possible without your readership and support! Hello readers, I hope you’re all having a great week so far. Sorry I’ve been a little MIA the past few days! Things have been super crazy over here, but in a good way. I can’t believe that it’s already October! September was like a whirlwind for me with New York Fashion Week, my birthday trip to the beach and then my shopping event and fashion show with Saks in New Orleans. On top of that, the Kendra Scott store on Perkins Rowe in Baton Rouge hosted a grand opening party to welcome Kendra Scott, herself to Louisiana. I was lucky enough to sit and talk with her during the party. She is such an amazingly talented woman and even more so humble. I am not exaggerating when I say that Kendra made sure to visit with every single person that walked through the door as if she was so excited to have each individual person there. I found her kindness and enthusiasm so refreshing. Just like her jewelry, Kendra Scott is truly beautiful in every way!
Also, I have to mention that I am so proud of my friends Ashley Sievert and Courtney Johnson who had the honor of styling Kendra’s hair and makeup for the party. Remember when they gave me a summer makeover here–> Haute Summer Makeover Part I & Haute Summer Makeover Part II We of course can’t forget to mention my photographer, Kaela Rodehorst Willams was chosen to shoot the Kendra Scott event! I’m sure we can agree that all three of these talented ladies did an amazing job! Last but not least, congrats to the Baton Rouge Kendra Scott Event Coordinator, Abby Joyce on throwing a fantastic party! I enjoyed everything from the delicious treats and refreshing cocktails to the fun photo booth and Mardi Gras decorations.
