Good Morning readers, I hope you all had a great weekend. I apologize for my lack of posts lately, but I had the weirdest thing happen to me! I had an allergic reaction to a medicine that I’ve been taking which caused me to have excruciating chest pain, persistent headaches, swelling of the mouth, difficulty breathing, trouble swallowing and tightness in the chest. Needless to say, those symptoms had me thinking that I was dying! Finally, we figured out what the issue was and I’m still alive! Anyway, I’m sure you didn’t really care about that, but I just thought I’d share that little experience from my weekend.
What’s more important here is this amazing Show Me Your Mumu outfit! The Roberts Party Pants are one of my favorite pieces by Show Me Your Mumu. They are so easy and comfortable while still chic and eye catching. I love a good pair of lightweight pants for the spring to pair with breezy tanks and layers of necklaces. Good Morning readers and Happy Friday! This is another look from the mini video I filmed in NOLA this past Monday with Kaela Rodehorst Photography and Heritage 1221 Cinema. I can’t wait to see how the video turns out especially with all of these beautiful spring colors. At first, I thought the sky blue tote would be too much paired with the purple tulips and bright pink maxi, but then I realized that it just made the pink pop even more and you know how much I love color pop! Good Morning readers, I apologize for my lack of blog posts lately, but I’ve added a quite a few new responsibilities to my plate so I’m still trying to get organized. Don’t you worry though because I have a ton of exciting giveaways and features planned for Haute Off The Rack coming soon including a cool video that I filmed in New Orleans yesterday with Heritage 1221 Cinema to show you some New Orleans fun and behind the scenes footage of my photo shoots with Kaela Rodehorst Photography.
Today’s look is the perfect kind of transitional outfit for our crazy Louisiana weather. It’s chilly enough for a light sweater and jeans, but warm enough to wear caged heels and to go without a jacket. I recommend wearing light wash denim and pastel or bright-colored sweaters to give your outfit more of a spring-time feel. You can also start using all of your spring accessories like this white baby croc handbag from Kelly Wynne’s spring collection. Speaking of white accessories, it’s all the rage this season!
