Good Morning readers, when in doubt about what to wear, I always know that I can count on a classic white shirt to give me that effortlessly glam look. No matter the season, the iconic white shirt is dependable, but it’s especially during this time of year in between summer and fall that it really comes in handy! It’s so hard to dress when you’ve got fall fashion on your mind, but its still 90 degrees outside!
I’m all about rocking fall trends early, but you have got to start slow especially here in Louisiana. I recommend starting with fall accessories like this Gigi New York bag in wine and these leopard statement pumps. Jeans and a white top is the perfect base combo for a transitional look into fall. Start there and then slowly build up whether you add a cardigan, blazer, boots, leather jacket, what have you! I’m sure you get the idea.
Also, I don’t know about you, but I can never have too many white shirts. In fact, I find that I never have enough. I guess thats because I wear them so often that I want a different style to fit my every mood.

Good Morning readers, I’m so excited to introduce you to my new Fall intern, Danielle Steib. This is Danielle’s first year as a student at Louisiana State University so I figured she’d make a great new rep on campus for Haute Off The Rack. She’ll be like my little insider to the college scene so I can stay in-the-know with what kind of trends the college students are into these days. This way I can create more helpful blog posts for all ages! I try my best to tap into all of the different age groups.
Also, as a part of Haute Off The Rack’s internship, Danielle and I will collaborate once month together to style and outfit for her to feature on hauteofftherack.com. Some of Danielle’s other internship duties include: attending a few local fashion events with me, assisting with a couple of photo shoots and of course helping me stay in-the-know with the college crowd!

For Danielle’s outfit feature this month, we decided to go with an LSU game day outfit to help the college students figure out what to wear this weekend and for the first home game next weekend! We chose a purple strapless romper because it’s easy and doesn’t require much styling, yet it’s still flattering and effortlessly chic! Plus it’ll keep you cool and comfortable in this Louisiana heat! We paired it with some gladiator sandals and some dainty layered necklaces. We completed the look with a Lilac Loren Hope Bracelet from Mint Boutique in Baton Rouge, LA. Make sure to also finish off your look with some SPF next weekend before heading out to tailgait! Geaux Tigers!
