Good Morning readers, I recently teamed up with Yael Palma of Madly-Yours for a style collaboration on Haute Off The Rack.  Yael is the designer, stylist and blogger behind the Madly-yours brand in New Orleans, Louisiana.  She designed and created these fabulous metallic clutches that we’re holding in these photos.   Immediately upon viewing her collection I fell head over heels in love with her handmade clutches. I especially love the Gunmetal & Citron Chevron clutch (pictured in the last 2 photos).  Lucky for you it can all be yours!  Yael and I are planning a Madly-Yours giveaway for Haute Off The Rack readers so you will have a chance to win one for yourself! Stay tuned for details!

Also, check out Madly-Yours blog today for more on Yael’s outfit.  You can also view her exclusive clutch collection here–> Shop Madly-Yours

P.S. Did you notice that I was wearing the Jen Bracelet in green by Dotted Tusk? I’m so excited and flattered to have piece of jewelry named after me!  Speaking of Dotted Tusk, get ready for an amazing jewelry collaboration that we have coming up!

Also, thank you so much to Kaela for these incredible photos! She did an amazing job of capturing the sun light.  She totally and completely exceeded my expectations as a photographer!

Good Morning readers, I hope you all had a great weekend and St. Patrick’s Day. If you live in Louisiana, I know you were enjoying beautiful weather and sunshine all weekend long. Also known as perfect maxi weather!

On that note, how eye catching is this pleated neon yellow maxi from Candy Apple Blog Shop!  Can you believe that its only $44!  Immediately upon seeing it in their office, I knew I had to add it to my wardrobe.  If you’re feeling that same desire for this stunning neon maxi, make sure to stop by their pop-up shop this Wednesday, March 20 from 6-8 pm at the Delta Gamma House on LSU’s Campus or this Saturday, March 23 from 10-1 pm in New Orleans.  More details on the ad below!

To style the dress, I chose bronze metallic accessories and jewelry to contrast with the brightness of the dress and to tone down the neon. I also wore a fun aztec-inspired cuff from Candy Apple Blog Shop for a little added flair.  I think the wooden beaded necklace by Dotted Tusk accented the dress perfectly and lucky for you its currently on sale for only $14!

Outfit Comparison: Neon Maxi (Victoria’s Secret)<– $128, Metallic Braided Belt (Target)

For those of you who don’t do strapless dresses but love this bright neon yellow, this style dress from Victoria’s Secret is a great alternative.  I myself prefer the one from Candy Apple Blog Shop because its less than half of this price and it has slits at the bottom.  However, this dress is still beautiful and gives you another option.   The straps and no slits factor make the dress a little more conservative than the other and may be more age appropriate for some. What are your thoughts?

P.S. Here is a sneak peek of tomorrow’s post with Yael Palma of Madly Yours.  Check back tomorrow to see our collaboration!

Good Morning readers, so what do you think of Penny Pincher Fashion?   Isn’t she amazing!  She has impeccable style and the best part is – it’s all affordable!  Plus she always looks so stunning and put together in everything she wears. The minute I saw her blog I was hooked.  Oh and get this- her husband takes all of her photos!  How sweet!

I asked her how she manages to run a full time blog with a husband and two kids because I don’t have either and I still struggle.  She said “You don’t want to know about my daily routine.  It’s crazy!”  Kimberly says that she wakes up early every morning before the rest of her family so she can read her favorite blogs, update her sales page and schedule her tweets for the day.  Fortunately, both of her kids are school-aged, so she has some free time during the day to exercise, shop or work on her posts for that week.  Since her husband also works from home he is available to take all of her gorgeous pictures. “We try to get those done during the week when the kids are in school, but it doesn’t always work that way thanks to our crazy winter weather, but we try!” she said.  Kimberly also does her best to take a step back from social media in the afternoon/evening so she can spend time with her family.  She said she enjoys being able to help the kids with homework and bake cookies with her daughter.  “I want them to know they are my number one priority,” said Kimberly.

Well moms, there you have it!  A daily dose of Penny Pincher Fashion is all you need to help you stay stylish on budget and still have time for the kids!  Visit her blog at www.pennypincherfashion.com!

Have a great weekend!

Good morning readers, I apologize for posting so late yesterday, but I’ve come down with a little cold so you have to give some slack.  I hope you all got a chance to see some of the footage from NOLA Fashion Week yesterday and all of last week.  I can’t wait until the next season!

Are you happy that I finally have a new outfit post for you?  I know it’s been a while.  I’m just going to warn you though that this is the first of many outfits featuring my Levis denim vest.  It’s my new favorite thing to wear right now because I like how it adds an edgier vibe to my look. I can’t help but feel cool when I wear it kind of like the way I felt about my denim jacket and jelly roll shoes when I was eight.  I instantly feel cooler once I put it on.  You should try it and let me know what you think!
