Hi everyone! Today, Krystal from A Pinch of Lovely and I wanted to prove to you that tulle skirts work for both petite and tall women! I am 5 ft tall and Krystal is 5’9! My skirt is 22′ inches long and Krystal’s skirt is 25 inches long. However, petite women can still get away with wearing both lengths! Check out the photo below to see my 25 inch tulle skirt or see the full post here–> Make A Statement at Holiday Parties!
These outfits are perfect for her holiday parties, Christmas Eve and even New Year’s Eve! Krystal and I styled our tulle skirts with neutrals and metallics for a classic and elegant look with hint of sass!
In case you’re wondering where else you can wear your tulle skirt other than just the Christmas holidays, you can style it casually with a graphic tee like Carrie Bradshaw or you can save it for other special occasions like birthdays, Valentine’s Day, bridal showers and even fancy spring soirees! I also love seeing tulle styled in engagement shoots! They make killer photos! We took these photos from the observation tower at the Omni Royal Orleans Hotel in the French Quarter during our “style-cation” in New Orleans. The view from the rooftop is absolutely beautiful! It overlooks the entire city and you even have a clear view of the St. Louis Cathedral!
Stay tuned to see how I wore my platinum tulle skirt in my magical field!

Thank you to the French Quarter Business Association for hosting us at the Omni Royal Orleans Hotel in New Orleans, LA.

Hello again! As promised, here is my second post of the day featuring a holiday party outfit. If you’re looking to make a statement at holiday parties this season, tulle skirts are the way to go! Remember when I styled this same black tulle skirt here–> Black Friday
I know that tulle can be a little intimidating sometimes when it comes to putting the whole outfit together, but you just have to find what works best for you. I personally like to wear my tulle skirts with cropped tops or super snug tees and pointy toe pumps. However, I’ve seen plenty of women pair their tulle skirts with flats, blouses, sweaters, graphic tees and loose fitting tanks. There are so many possibilities when it comes to a full skirt. It just all depends on what you feel comfortable in.
For those of you who like make the excuse that you’re too short or tall for full midi skirts, that’s not true because I am 5’1 and Krystal is 5’9 and we both found a way to make them work! Make sure to check back later this week to see how Krystal from A Pinch of Lovely and I styled the blush and platinum tulle skirts for a fun holiday event. I also wore my platinum tulle skirt in my magical field. Just wait until you see that! You’re going to love both the platinum and blush!
If tulle is just too much for you, I highly recommend statement jewelry or sequin pants! I’ve got two pairs of sequin pants coming for you on the blog soon, but check out these gorgeous statement pieces below!

Good Morning readers and Happy Friday! I’m so excited to tell you have I have teamed up with Nasty Gal to bring you a New Orleans City Guide and two holiday style party looks for a night out on the town with your friends. For my first look, I paired a simple white cropped top with some pleated shorts and finished the look a snazzy sequin blazer for some “uptown funk.” Speaking of “Uptown Funk,” in case you haven’t heard my new favorite song by Bruno Mars, you can jam out to it here–> Uptown Funk
The song “Uptown Funk” was pretty much the inspiration behind this head turning look! Don’t believe me? Just watch–> Uptown Funk
For those of you who like a pop of color, I showed the outfit styled with the Madison Crossbody in wine. I also paired the party look with my black Jenn Bucket Bag designed by yours truly to show you that it works great as a going out bag too. I think this outfit is perfect for a night out with your girls during the holidays or even as a New Years Eve outfit too! What do you think? Where would you rock this look?
